If You Go Lithium - Go DC House (Read to End)
Two years ago, I bought a 2010 EZ Go RXV golf cart from a less-than-honest source. In the months that followed, I either replaced or repainted every single part of it (I mean everything) except its batteries and motor. While the seller claimed that its 48V power pack, consisting of four 12V Trojan 150 Ah batteries connected in series, was just 3-years old and should have a 5-year minimum life expectancy, it began yielding noticeably less range following each charge. So, I Googled this and found out that a manufacturing date code is stamped atop the negative of each battery. Mine are all stamped with “J6” and. researching further, I found this to represent a 2010 date of 14 years ago. In other words, they were as old as the cart itself and were long over-due for replacement. This left 2 obvious choices; (1) installing a new set of Trojan batteries that would have a price tag of approximately between $1,400 (DYI) and as much as $2,500 (dealer-installed), or (2) read up on using a Lithium alternative. Once I did the research, I decided on a 48V Lithium solution. When surfing Amazon, there are many available choices, mostly Chinese made, even with those sporting the names of US companies. Fortunately, I decided on a package from DC House. It included a 100Ah sealed LIFeP04 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, an 18A charger, a color Bluetooth connected monitoring display and a smart phone interface. The package cost was just under $1,000 on Amazon and included free shipping. While there are a couple of similar packages for less money, the majority mostly cost more and / or have one or more probable disadvantages, such as the location of the (+) and (-) terminals, their dimensions, lack of ability to directly get support, etc.Installation was a breeze. In fact, the hardest part was removing and disposing of the old batteries. They weighed about 90lbs. each including inter-connecting cables. Lifting them up 3’ to clear the cart body was definitely a 2-person job. Furthermore, as a DYI project, safety glasses rubber gloves and clothing that protect against battery acid. Also, prior to removing any connections, take photographs that clearly show their wire colors, placement, and anything else that might ensure their accurate return to service.Meanwhile, but for two shipping issues and moving the cart’s controller battery settings from AMG to Lithium, the DC House package was a drop-in with plenty of room to spare (see photo).Upon arrival, the battery’s packaging was damaged, and its display screen was crushed. So, I sent an e-mail with photo to DC House and a new display was immediately on its way with prepaid express shipping and they credited my Amazon payment method $50 for the inconvenience. Secondly, the package’s $160 charger was shipped separately at the same time as the battery. However, after several delayed arrival UPS message, I asked DC House to trace it. Within 2 hours, they had the answer and not only immediately shipped a replacement, but they also credited my Amazon payment method with another $100 for the inconvenience. In fact every communication with DC House has received a prompt and any necessary action and their product quality is superb.A few more things to know; this process can remove 280 pounds or more from the weight of your cart. As a result, this 100Ah replacement actually outperforms the original 150Ah package in terms of cart acceleration, smoothness of ride and time between charges and replenishing battery distilled water is a thing of the past. With regard to disposing of the old batteries, local ordinances may make it serious crime to do so anywhere but an official disposal center. Here in Florida, it’s a free service

Golf cart is alive again
This lithium battery was great for our golf cart. I ended up converting to lithium from lead/acid batteries. It reduced the weight by like 300lbs!! My golf cart throttle is more responsive on take off and seems to have a better top speed because of the reduction in weight. I was worried because I have no real experience with golf carts, but the conversion was pretty easy. The battery lasts a very long time between charging. However I did have an issue with the battery reading 45% and minutes later completely dead. But I’ve learned my lesson, so I will charge it a little more often with that in the back of my mind.

Easy install and big performance gain
Awesome battery! Installed in my Yamaha G22. This battery combined with the carts high speed motor & controller made it extremely fast. Floor it and it throws you back in your seat. Even Flys up steep hills now.I cut and layed 3 treated 2x8s cut at 10.25" in the batterry tray. Drilled two new hold down holes, then flipped the old hold-down bracket over to hold the battery in place. Also, had to lengthen then hold down bolts by an inch.

No more Trojan acid batteries!
Great replacemwnt dor the 6 Trojan batteries of my 2012 G29 golf cart. Easy instalation, lighter than the 6 batteries, more powerful, and longer drives. i also leave some space at the battery compartment for a small cooler or anything that fits on the side of the battery. Really happy with my purchase and results. The screen is bright and has enough info to keep checking on the battery. I drove about 16 miles and still have 60% of battery left… absolutely worth it!I bought the power outlet to be able to keep the charger in the golfcart and just need an extension cord to charge it.

Small, Light, Powerfull. Perfect for your needs.
These batteries are GREAT. I bought one, put it into my Mini Truck, gives me 20 Miles on one Battery, It has NO issue letting you pull 200A. My little Truck was grabbing 170A for nearly 20s going up a hill and the battery did not flinch. The charger is nice, seems to lose a little bit of charge rate after a while, but that could just be a heat thing it was hot when I was charging. I removed one star as I could NOT get the LCD to sync with the battery until the battery DIED then it did its own thing and synced right up LOL.Would I buy one again???????YES!!!!I just bought a second one to double the range on my Mini Truck. So I will have 40+ Miles.*Range dependent on load** You vehicle may get lower or father range depending on its configurations :)*** Hey DC House would you like to sponsor my Mini Truck? ( I would love a 3rd ) I do Pyrotechnics and Fireworks and I use these in my truck to move around product on the worksite. I would love to put your logo on the side and say Powered BY: DC House

Powerful Upgrade & Easy Installation!
I couldn’t be happier with this DC HOUSE 48V lithium battery! It was incredibly easy to install—everything was clearly labeled, and the included charger and Bluetooth monitor made setup a breeze. I had it up and running in no time without needing any special tools or help. The performance has been fantastic. My golf cart runs smoother, faster, and the battery holds a charge much longer than my old lead-acid setup. The Bluetooth app is a nice bonus—great for keeping an eye on charge levels and health in real-time.Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their golf cart with a reliable, high-capacity lithium battery!

Best upgrade for golf carts
Great battery. I bought this to replace the lead acid batteries in my gulf cart. It greatly increased the range of my cart and reduced the time to fully charge. One note: be sure to measure the available space vs the battery size for fit.

Ships SLOW
Solid product so far after a few rides. Shipping is misleading. They send you the charger quickly, but the battery comes many many days later.
