metal chrome cover for shower head pipe
When doing a refurbish on our shower, we replaced the existing flange that was pitted and rusted with this new one. I read that some are plastic, or don't fit correctly. This flange looks and works great. I'm glad I had it in the box ready for the installer.

10/10 would buy again
Installation was easy and it looks great in our shower. Our old one was rusted out and we were changing the faucet anyway. We had to slightly bend the prongs to fit it on but it was a nice tight fit. We didn't even use caulk because the prongs seem to hold it to the wall pretty well. I have no idea about the durability because I only installed it a few weeks ago but so far it is holding up well

Plastic flange
Bought one of these for a project. The flange turns out to be plastic, with a nice shiny finish. Looks OK.Two things to be aware of:(1) The ID of the flange is suitable for regular shower arms, which are a little lighter than Sch 40 pipe fittings. If you need to use a regular pipe fitting coming out of the shower wall (e.g. for accessories), the ID of this flange needs some reaming. This takes longer than it sounds,since: (2) The flange is approx 1.5" face-to-face. Which means the pipe fitting needs to be longer than you thought..FYI.

The $5 Aluminum Disk That'll Make You Question Your Life Choices
It is a circular piece of stamped aluminum masquerading as a $5 shower accessory. Positives: It does its job and is shiny enough to see your disappointment at the price reflected back at you. Part of me wonders if it's fashioned one out of a soda can. It works. If you enjoy overpaying for a cheap product, this flange is for you. Otherwise, prepare to feel like you've been flanged by Moen's pricing department.
