Great Quality Cosplay Prop
I bought this sword as an affordable prop for a Thorin Oakenshield cosplay fully prepared for it to be poor quality. For the price and the fact that it’s made of foam, I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and accuracy! From a distance, it looks almost identical to Orchrist in the Hobbit films and if accuracy is a major issue for you, it wouldn’t be hard to paint it to add weathering effects to the handle and blade. (I would recommend getting the lighter handle if you want the prop to look like the original.) While I haven’t taken it to comic con yet, another bonus of getting a LARP prop like this one is that you can actually bring it into a convention whereas a several-hundred dollar metal prop might not be allowed. I will note that while it is listed as a LARP sword, it shouldn’t be used in a LARP battle unless you want to bruise your opponent’s kneecaps and damage the sword — definitely more for cosplay!

Solid foam, good display piece
This foam sword is a great addition to any fantasy enthusiast's collection! The foam feels sturdy and solid, though it’s worth noting that it’s not designed to withstand heavy impacts—so avoid smacking it against hard surfaces. As a display piece, it’s perfect! It fits right in on my fantasy-themed wall and adds a nice touch of flair. While it’s not as long as Aragorn’s sword from the movies, I think that’s a plus; a longer version would likely be too unwieldy for practical display or casual handling.

Great Cosplay Weapon, Not for sparing.
Great for the price, pretty flimsy, definitely not for sparing. Great for cosplay though. Decent size, for reference I'm 5'8.

Not Foam, Not Larp
This is falsely advertised, it is neither made of foam, nor larp-worthy, both of which appear in the item tags as of posting. It is made of crappy plastic which would both be sharp enough to be dangerous with the tip (but not edges) and be weak enough to break after hitting with any amount of force a couple times. If you want a cheap display piece, fine, if you want a larp sword, look no closer at this.
