Tremco Vulkem V116L 116 Polyurethane Sealant, Limestone

Last spring I caulked the pool-wall-to-coping gap, and this stuff was great. It was easy to work with, cleaned up fairly well when a mistake was made, and bonded very nicely. It went through the rigors of an Arizona summer with direct sunlight hitting it, and while the color did fade, the product didn't separate or crack. Make sure you really dig out any debris or old caulk before you start, and make sure the surface you're working in into is clean and dry. You'll need a large caulking gun for this, so be prepared, the tube is pretty huge. The bead size I applied was about 1/16-1/8", and I got about 20-30 feet per tube out of it. I got ambitious and put a little dab on a tile that had a little bit of pebble tech worn from it's edge, and even in a partially submerged application, that stuff just clung right on. A small drip got on the bench, and danged if it didn't bond to the surface under water! I'm not looking forward to pulling it all out when the time comes to redo the whole project, mainly because of the performance I'm seeing right now.

I received this with only 4 months left on the shelf life. It’s already over a year old. Make sure you need to use it immediately.

I have used this before and Will not use anything else because nothing else can compare to this stuff. It will pull a 1/2 inch and not tear, cold, heat nothing affected this caulk. Absolutely the best on the market. And you can paint right over it. Get some now you won't be sorry.
