Not suitable for precision lathe work
This replacement Taper showed the same problem as the previous one I received. The outer taper is not concentric with the inner taper with a measured runout of 0.11 mm which is not within the quoted website specs of 0.02 mm. These must be factory rejects. They are not suitable for precision work on a lathe. Perhaps could be useful as a tool post. However, the Morse 5 outer taper is within their stated specs with a measured runout of .005 mm.
