Just received this remote, my original remote was on the fritz. Found a code online so it would pair with Lennox, for some reason not listed in their instructions. Code is 0107. Not sure how to select "intelligent heating" or cooling yet, otherwise is easy to use/program. Wish they would include a photo of the face of the remote with diagrams showing function of each button.

I tried all codes in the "General Electric" and "Electrolux" sections in the manual (as it states to do for Frigidaire AC's). Additionally I tried the automatic search both with the AC turned off at first, and then again with the AC turned on during the code search (it searches 2000 codes). I mounted the remote on a tripod 3 ft. from the AC unit during the code search. At no time did the remote alter the power state of the AC unit. I have verified that the remote is sending by observing it with my digital camera, and I can see the emitter light up. Judging by all the other ratings, this doesn't work with anything! I've waited since last week for a reply from Tech Support.

I have a 15 year old Sanyo split mini heat pump system (RCS-4HVPIS4U, KHS1872/CH1872) and the OEM remote stopped working. This system is discontinued so best advice was to find a universal remote that would function. Searches led me to this one and a few others. I was skeptical but given the price thought I couldn’t lose. It's the most elegant of all those I located and it emulates all functions of the OEM. You do have to program the correct universal code for your specific manufacturer's unit (mine is 0529). It has an auto find capability but it was so slow, I decided on the manual, entering a code at a time, process. It took about a half dozen attempts to get the correct code. Once I entered and set it, the remote worked flawlessly. One plus that this one has over the other universal remotes I found, is the much larger LCD screen. Overall, very happy with this remote.

Says on sellers website that this is a substitute for original. I scanned all the codes and only 4 would turn power on/off. 1 also controlled temp, but otherwise none of the other functions (cold/heat, mode, timer on/off, etc) worked.
