Hella makes a high quality product. Just got it so I can't speak to the long term durability but it's a high quality unit.

These were exactly what I needed to replace and they worked perfectly.

This is a great light , just do not forget to purchase a base socket pole , I made my own.

I have bought & installed 8 of these over the last 14 years & only one has failed.....from a HARD impact ...There are newer type warning lights on the market but many off-road OEM vendors still mount this same Hella unit. Mount choices are sold for pole, roof, mirror & frame mounting @ Hella's web site. The steel & brass male mounting stem or "bush" is NOT included in this offering. ..Ecco out of Boise Idaho offers "bush" mounting stem # A5850TB... The upper rubber housing is bonded to a black nylon & brass female socket base which acts as the 12 or 24 volt hook-up. This offering is sold only with a 55 watt 12v H-1 bulb , but can be changed to a 70 watt 24v bulb by twisting the amber dome off. If you are working in a rough area, you can remove entire unit with just a twist of the large wing nut for more clearance or when your not near your machine. I have changed some to a "tamper proof" nut rather than wing nut. Some units with high hour usage will develop " gear noise " but the nylon gears are easy to lube. All brass contacts can be cleaned with a pocket type screwdriver after years of use. this pole light require special plug in mount that cost $30 should be included with light but is not poor value
