Exceeds Expectations! Excellent Everyday Entertainment!
This is the fourth time I wrote this because I keep hitting the back key, loosing all just before I'm about to send. So I'll keep this one short. This is the second time I've purchased a 7-inch pie screen from this seller and both times same packaging everything is very nice the screen has weight to it it's solid, quality, it has built-in speakers it comes with a 3 amp power brick an assortment of cables pretty much everything you'll ever need for it right there except for a battery pack that would be nice but there is wires for that and a terminal. I believe there's an NFC card reader on the back I never really took the time to find out but to me it looks like an NFC reader. Oh no I'll probably get a third and a fourth because they're great. Great value also considering what all comes with it too which, that being said the screen almost pays for itself and that price amongst the accessories. I don't really leave any reviews but I'm very happy with this product in the seller. They are also quick to retply to any questions you may have shipping is fast, just all around a good deal! I hope this helps some of you with your purchase decisions, it took me awhile to get my first one because I to was skeptical of the price and quality, but I definitely don't regret it! Handy for so many things! how many things have you thought would be better with a screen on it seriously,? I believe at one point in time I probably even thought about putting a screen on my toilet seat later LOL well now I can 😂 I think I'm going to get two more to throw in my visors in my vehicle, I could probably help you with some ideas while I'm typing this fourth time. Still. Lol back of headrests for children and vehicles, always wanted that refrigerator with a LCD screen it does more than just tell you what button to push or a temperature at best, easy retrofit. Have children? Well not now you'll be selling buy more of these 😂😂 Stop putting them in everything what's wrong with you, you need help! 😂 (Clicks buy on 2 more)😂 information, impractical the quality they get the job done and you can really develop a disorder if you had too many of them, I wonder how many will fill my living room wall ... Now that definitely would not be the best value for square inch 😂 okay my review and days are done I'm retired have a good one! Get one and done 😂 Enjoy! not spell checking this I know it'll happen when I try I'll do it again I know I will LOLPs, don't peel the screen protector off! It's not a thin plastic layer for packaging and shipping reasons, it's pre-applied screen protector with no installer error air bubbles!, Smack your other hand if it tries to take it off! "No, Bad Hand, You Behave!". 😂

Amazing Little Monitor
This is an incredible and versatile little device. It is very well packaged and comes with tons of stuff! Everything you need for multiple configurations. The screen is bright and very clear. The resolution is perfect for this size. The built-in audio is a nice feature as well as the touch screen. If you want to power the monitor with your Raspberry, use the top left pins. (See Picture)The included feet are a little low to clear the power cord when you mount the Pi on the back, so I got a 90-degree USB-C adapter. You will have to configure your Raspberry Pi to use the screens native resolution of 1024x600 in the config.txtThis is what worked for me:Type:sudo nano /boot/config.txtAdd these lines at the end:hdmi_force_hotplug=1hdmi_cvt=1024 600 60 3 0 0 0hdmi_mode=87hdmi_drive=2When you reboot you should have a full screen at 1024x600 with no black bars on the sides. If it is not full screen and the image looks distorted you will have to manually adjust the aspect ratio under size and position in the monitor's menu.Enjoy!

Unfortunate disappointment
When I first got this screen I loved it. With all the extra cables to cover connections needed to my RPi4b(and I few others I didn't need), it worked great, excellent color, brightness and touch screen response. I had legs on, Pi mounted and everything connected within 20 minutes. (If you are familiar with the cable connection types this will be a no brainier for you)I set this up with Octopi to send print jobs to my 3d printer. Some resolution settings had to be adjusted manually on the Pi and in Octoprint to meet the native resolution of the screen, but after making the changes the screen looked great and the screen had no issues with sensing the touch of the screen anywhere I tried. Here's the sad part. As I was using it, I would occasionally see the screen blink as if the picture signal dropped, at first I did not see it that often but as time went on it seemed to increase in frequency. All connections were double/triple checked and power was not an issue using a 45w USB power supply. Out of concern of it becoming a permanent issue I decided to return it. I was bummed. I really liked it, except for the intermittent blink.A couple notes, the back side is not encased. It's safe mind you just not covered. Its shown in the description pictures if you are curious. The other thing - legs are a bit short. As mentioned in other reviews, it a tight 90 deg bend off the end of the cable suppling power to you raspberry, but still doable.I'm going to get a new screen but probably going to trey another brand..
