ABUS Padlock Titalium 64TI/40 gl.-6411 - keyed Alike - Basement Lock with Lock Body Made of Special Aluminium - Hardened Steel Shackle - ABUS Security Level 5

Purchased this in may 2021. It has been outside on a storage box for my garden equipment. It has been outside in all weathers for the last 4 years so it is definitely waterproof. Very sturdy lock, I had trouble getting it unlocked myself.Although today I tried to get into it and it won't unlock, I'm hopeful that after a spray of WD-40, it will open. If not nearly 5 years of excellent service. Protecting my garden equipment.

Usual top-notch Abus quality. No-name brands might be cheaper, but these "feel" smooth and pleasant to operate.4 padlocks, 5 keys. Keyed-alike, means all 4 locks operate from the same key, yet you get 5 copies.One key, secures 4 different padlocks. Love the simplicity of that.Used to secure two seperate wheel-chains for a trailer (both whells locked), and alternatively the tailgate anti-luce fastenings are locked while on the move. Same locks, multiuses - but my needs are not your your needs.BTW: It is impossible to tell from the picture, but there are indeed 4 padlocks in the pack, as described. There are also cheaper 3 pack, and two pack, keyed-alike sets available, if you don't want this 4 pack.UPDATE: One year later, and the padlocks are still like new. The ones exposed to weather securing the wheel chains have not needed lubrication, and operate like new. And the ones securing the tailgate, that have been shaken about over 5000 miles of towing, are likewise showing no signs of wear. Perfect quality for a sensible price = top value.

Robust and reliable key mechanism.

Only time will tell how weatherproof they are, but on initial use they are strong, secure, and open easily. And the reason i bought them is to have the same key that opens all 4 locks, save me faffing around for which key to which lock when out in the garden these winter nights!

Bought what was advertised to be a weatherproof padlock and after a couple of showers, it had practically completely seized solid.I should have bought an Abus lock in the first instance - there is no fancy plasticised weather protection here, just a good quality lock that remains free whatever the weather, a decent cylinder and key and a small hole to squirt oil into it if needed.'45' relates to the size and is probably the smallest you would want to buy to padlock a gate or a cupboard. I made the mistake of buying a pair of 25s before, which wouldn't have kept a hamster locked up.

Had to return another brand of padlock because the keys were difficult to remove. This padlock is much better quality, it has a smooth and positive lock and unlock. Can't say how it weather's yet

The Abus locks are great, if outside - maybe once a year give them a spray with some lubricant and you are golden

Wanted a padlock that didn’t corrode outside. My last padlock rusted solid after 6 months. So I looked for one that was weatherproof. While many padlocks claim to be so very few get good reviews. This Abus padlock had good review and after 6 months no sign of rust. Only downside it only comes with 2 keys and the additional keys are quite expensive. Almost as expensive as original purchase.
