Faller 140316 Merry Go Round HO Scale Building Kit

This is a very attractive addition to my HO train layout amusement park. I am somewhat disappointed that, for the hefty price, they don't include a slip-ring so you can illuminate the carousel wheel. So, I made my own out of an aluminum pie pan and an old dvd, and the lighting adds so-o-o much to the beautiful carousel! It would be a minimal expense for them to add something like that, with appropriate instructions of course. I play authentic carousel music on my cell phone hidden near the carousel, then with the room darkened and with lights and sound on, it becomes truly magical for kids and adults alike!

Great model but you need to be a proficient model to assemble

Sooo beautiful!! After adding lights to the carousel, it looked so realistic.

I bought this as a gift for a train and layout person .... It is perfect .... takes patience though just FYI
