Better than OEM
I am impressed with the product and the value. The "off-brand" Bower batteries are actually rated at 1800 mAh in comparison to the 1240 mAh rating of the Sony branded battery. That is nearly 50% higher capacity. Does the charge last longer? My experience is that the charge lasts significantly longer. The charger itself is certainly not "of lower quality" as another post here suggests. I'm not sure what charger it is being compared to as so far, no one has seen a Sony charger for this battery. It charges from "empty" to full charge in about 1-1/2 hours. It also comes with an adapter for your car's power outlets and a European-style receptacle adapter. I have not tried either, but will see how well the charger works in a car. Being able to charge a spare battery in a car is a huge plus for people on the move. This same charger can be purchased for as little as $4.75 elsewhere by itself, and the batteries at $8.80. That compares favorably with the price of the kit here. The Sony brand batteries are list priced at $49.95 although you can get them for as little as around $32 on line. But that is still nearly four times as much for a battery that has less capacity. Yes, they are Chinese manufactured just as the DSC-RX100 is, and just as the OEM battery is.If is certainly possible that the OEM battery has a longer useful life, but the Bower battery has a 5-year guaranty. If the battery lasts 1/5 that long in daily use I will be happy--after all, they are a consumable. The camera itself has a 1-year guaranty and it is not "consumable."In summary, no one should avoid these products because they do not carry the Sony brand. They are well built and represent a solid value. I will not be buying a Sony battery at four times the price when I can obtain a product that is certainly worth more than 1/4 the price of OEM batteries.

Perfect!
I had lost my charger for my Sony camera & this has two spare batteries and battery charger. Everything works perfectly. Thanks

Works as advertised. Great Value.
I plugged in both batteries into my RX100 as soon as they arrived to check if they bore a charge then removed them immediately after to charge them. Battery indicator on camera showed full. It took about a little over or about 3 hours.Been using these batteries for quite some time now and can confirm that they are a good value. They've retained their ability to hold a charge with seemingly no loss in capacity. The ability to charge batteries with an external charger is something anyone who shoots a lot needs and this set is perfect. The included car charger cable allows you to charge from your car's power/lighter outlet.Have not needed to do so as with 2 spare batteries and the original battery that comes with the camera I can be out and shoot for a couple of days easy.

Great price, works great!
This was a great deal! Two batteries and a charger, plus cleaning cloth and screen saver! I take a lot of photos and run through batteries quickly - having two extras plus a charger that does not require plugging into my usb (which the camera does to charge directly) is so convenient and helpful! This was a fantastic price - way better then what my local camera shop could offer, and they always have good prices, but this was fantastic. I wasn't expecting top quality at such a low price, so I was very pleased and happy with what I got - excellent quality and a fantastic deal. I would for sure buy again from these sellers, and would recommend this battery/charger set to anyone - and I am a professional videographer, so I am pretty selective in what I recommend! Thank you!!!

Quality batteries and affordable.
I bought this so I could take my RX100 to the Phililppines for a vacation and not need to worry about running out of batteries on long days. I couldn't be happier for the price and performance. I haven't used the charger, preferring to charge the batteries inside the RX100, so I can't speak to the charger quality. However the batteries are great.Pros:* Inexpensive* Decent battery life (80% as good as the Sony original)Cons:* Battery doesn't report charge accurately to the camera. It says it's fully charged until there is about 10-15% charge left, and then it rapidly drops to two-bars, then one-bar, and it's dead within about 20 minutes.I'd buy it again. The con doesn't outweigh the pros in my opinion.

Good value for the dollar
I have used one of these batteries over the last few weeks and it takes a charge and works fine. However, they do not last nearly as long as the original battery that came with the camera (Sony HX300). The original battery is rated at 1250 Mah and I was able to take about 440 photos before the battery was getting low. On these, I get about 180. The label on the battery states these are 1700 Mah cells, but they are more than likely around 600 or 700. The batteries I received also had no brand name on them and they were not like the ones in the photo. Taking everything into consideration, for $17.00 for two, including an external charger, you cannot expect too much. Still a better value than paying $50.00 for the Sony cell. If these batteries crap out in a few months though, I may change my tone!!

Wonderful!
I bought my cybershot at a thrift store for $5. The battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore and the lense got stuck because of it. I'm guessing that's why they dumped this beauty at the thrift store! Anyways after fiddling with it for a few min, I got the lense to go back in and the camera worked wonderfully (except for the battery only lasting for a couple minutes). I just got my new batteries in the mail today, charged them up and they work perfectly! I have a nearly $500 camera and paid less than $20 total to get it up and running!! I now need to learn some photography!
