This was a gift for a child under 10. They really enjoyed the different experiments, especially the push versus pull ones. Being able to show how magnets can attract or repel objects was very neat and is done in a way that kids understand.

This fun Magnet set is great for kids of all ages. The included instruction manual contains several fun experiments that can be done over and over again. There are no consumable parts, so really, as long as you take care of it, the set will last for years. Some of the experiments involve items you already have around the house, like paper clips and such.My children, 3, 5, 7, and 8, all enjoy playing with the magnets and discovering "what happens if . . . " This set is a great addition to our homeschool.

I bought thid one year for Christmas... it was played with for a little while and then remained in the box for a couple of years, untouched. We did have fun doing the experiments together, so from that aspect, it was worthwhile.I think magnet blocks would get played with more often.We recently needed it for homeschool science experiment, so I was glad we had it.

This kit has been a hit with my 3rd graders. My students are inner city kids from a variety of immigration histories. Many have never explored magnets. This kit has allowed them to see magnetic forces in action.

My daughter is 8 almost 9 and liked the magnets. I think they are a little bit young for her however she did play with them and had kept them with her magna tiles collection.

My kids really enjoy playing with this alot. And I love it because they're learning well they're doing it and they barely realize how much they're learning because they're having so much fun. It's a gender neutral toy so both my son and daughter who are 6 and 9 can play with it together.
