Avoid - noisy and stopped working after only 2 weeks
I bought this for a simple diy panel insulation on my garage. I only became aware after I started to have issues with it that a lot of online advice points towards this not even really being an MPPTa nd having noise and reliability issues. The first and most obvious issue with this unit is the astronomically loud fan. Even turning the settings right down it was audible from outside the garage when closed - standing 10 metres away! Like an aircraft taking off all day...After only about two weeks the screen started to blink and the buttons became inoperative. Requesting advice and a return from the seller was little use. After deciphering the 'english' of the email I received, I then checked the unit and wiring as requested and informed the seller, only to receive an almost identical email to their first response - so obviously there's no real intention to help or provide a refund or replacement.I bought a Victron unit to replace it - silent and trouble free operation for months so far. Don't waste your money on this junk.
