TRUEplus® Soft Tabs Glucose Tablets – 12 Packs – 48 tabs (Kiwi Strawberry)

I recently tried a box of glucose tabs, and I have to say, I’m really impressed! Not only are they incredibly effective at quickly raising my blood sugar levels, but the taste is surprisingly pleasant. Unlike some other options that can be chalky or overly sweet, these tabs have a great balance, making them easy to take even on the go. Plus, the box comes with a generous quantity, which is a big bonus. I don’t have to worry about running out too quickly, and it’s an excellent value for the price. Overall, I’m really happy with these glucose tabs, they’ve become a must-have in my daughters Type 1 Diabetic care.

After a fasting blood test I have trouble with low blood sugar. A woman at a diner we went to after such a test suggested I keep some of these in my purse for such times. This item comes with 4 tablets in each foil package. The packages are fairly thick and the tablets can be fairly easily broken in half by hand, no pill splitter needed. I just took half a one to see how they were and to do a review. Almost a vanilla smell when opened and the actual taste is pleasant, nothing fakey but just a slight hint. If I were to carry these I'd also want a snack size baggy for any tablets I didn't consume.These are very handy to carry and I (still) enjoy the flavor- I'm adding to my review. because of comments about the 'softness'. While not as hard as SweetTarts these tabs are not as soft as bubble gum. I just let them melt on my tongue so don't see a real issue with the 'softness' or any danger of breaking a tooth.I am between 45 and 55 year of age and usually use half a tab at a time.

Great flavors! I've tasted the root beer, chocolate marshmallow and strawberry. So far a are good. It's nice that they melt and are soft.the idea that you can split them is goodCons: the front of the PKG says 4 gr. of carbsand the nutrition information says 5 g of carbs. What’s with that?Also, the package is extremely hard to open. These are for people who are having a low blood sugar or need quick energy. I had a terrible time opening these packages in a lower blood sugar emergency. Had to go find the scissors.The price is high. Only 4 tabs in a pkg for $1.33 per PKG ($15.99/12)

These have a great flavor. I have only tried cherry pop. The package is so hard to open. I have to cut them with scissors. The price is a bit high for me but I pay it for the flavor.

Most glucose tablets taste gross. The flavor of these is pretty good and the packaging makes it easy to tuck them away everywhere I might need them. I’d recommend trying them.

These packets are extremely hard to open by hand and, if you are suffering from low blood sugar the need for them is immediate. I purchased as I was intrigued by the flavors, my old standard tablets were something I was tired of even though they worked great. I ended up getting a pair of scissors one time and a knife at another time to slit open the foil packet. They worked fine but getting to them in an urgent need was difficult. I ended up opening all packets and loading them into my old tablet's tube for ease of access.

The texture and taste were not good. Effectiveness was okay but it melted like sand in my mouth and taste so artificial I think America would've banned it

Soft tabs are easily broken up, better for those who might be missing a tooth or more(like me)
