Really good Wok, I have done numerous stir fry's, bacon and eggs fry up, steaks, chicken fried rice. And I'm cooking fish with it tomorrow. It gets hot quick, I let it heat up for four minutes then I put one tablespoon of cooking oil. That's all I've needed, I wait a further minute for the oil to heat up. Then I toss in the ingredients in stages.I find the setting between medium and hot cooks everything I've done fine. It's the sweet spot for me. Cleaning is just a simple wipe down with a sponge and that's that, the non stick is really good. So far a big thumbs up from me!!

I no longer have to use my hob as this wok cooks everything. It gets hot enough to sear and brown meat, it maintains a consistent temperature for stir fry, makes thick, creamy porridge in record time and it's totally non stick making cleaning a breeze. Just disconnect the electric connection, wipe out food particles with kitchen towel and wash out with dishcloth and dry. I'm eating much healthier as a result and cooking is no longer a tedious chore. Every kitchen should have one!

Brilliant appliance if you don't have a gas ring and want to get your fry on. It heats up fast and efficiently and stays hot, rather than electric rings which tend to run on a thermostat and turn themselves off if they think you're overdoing things.The five-litre capacity will easily take four nests of cooked medium egg noodles, plus meat and veg, for a chow mein or similar.I've used it for fajitas, tacos and all sorts of quick-fry recipes as well as stir-fries. Simple to use and easy to clean, although it's slightly awkward when you want to tip out your culinary masterpiece into a serving bowl - the contents can spill out round the edges.However...The is the second of these I've owned. Both lost their 'non-' and became just 'stick'.I bought the second one in February 2023 and it's now January 2025. It's had quite a lot of use but last. night I had to chuck it out because it started to stick really badly.I will almost certainly be buying another, but be warned - they don't stay non-stick for ever.

It is all too easy to buy kitchen gadgets that rarely get used but clutter cupboards and work surfaces. This electric wok is compact, easily cleaned and works really well. It far exceeded my expectations and I use it regularly. It’s not too big or too small. The only problem? I have now got a large gas burner ring on my stove top that I have no use for . . .

We bought this wok about a year ago and used it extensively (at least once a day) with amazing results. It heats up very quickly, is truly non-stick, and a dream to wash (you basically just have to wipe it down and it's already clean). A couple weeks ago, it stopped heating up and we were gutted. Then we realized there's a 2 year warranty and emailed VonShef about our problem with proof of purchase attached. We had a kind and helpful reply back within NINE minutes on a Saturday saying that they will dispatch a replacement item immediately. It was already delivered on the Monday. We are truly impressed!!
