Great product; has helped with the improvement of my dry eye and blepharitis.
I have been using Gel Heat Masks from another manufacturer for several years. I was unable to obtain more from that manufacturer and found these Gel Heated Eye masks instead. I am delighted with these masks being better filled with gel than the previous masks. They are also great value coming with two gel inserts instead of the previous that only had one.I have been using heated eye mask once each morning for about 3 years. They are convenient to use only needing a cup of boiled water. I feel gel mask are much safer. Previously I felt I had burnt my eye on a microwave been bag type as it is difficult to be accurate with how much time to put in the microwave. My dry eye and blepharitis was very severe about three to four years ago and constantly troubling me. It has now considerably improved by a combination of using the heated mask each morning, washing my eye lids twice a day with cotton buds, switching to a preservative free Sodium Hyaluronate eye drop. I was also able to retire from work so I am not using computers so often. I feel using the eye mask daily is important to me to keep my eyes feeling healthy. I am very pleased with the eye masks and would very much recommend.

Great price, great product.
Recently diagnoised with blepharitis I bought this 3 days ago and have been using it 3x a day since. It really helps soothe my eyes and loosen the crust. I use this then use cotton swaps in warm water to remove the crusts and it work really well. Pro tip is to lightly massage your eyes while the mask is on, it works really well and gets the heat into the corner parts near your nose bridge better + loosen the oil glands. Its early days so I'm yet to see any improvement in the redness/inflammation side of things but I'm hopeful! :-)

Sleep please!
Wearing the cooling head cap is the only way I can get any sleep when migraine hits. It fits tightly over hair and lumps of ice press into head and face which feels great.

Too small, uncomfy
This has the equivelent of freezer blocks placed at various point, making the item less flexible and more painful to wear as it's too smalll. It is a little smaller than other products, although they do not have the freezers blocks, are more flexible and comfy to wear. If anything for this should it should have been a centimeter or two larger not smaller to accompdate the blocks for a more comfy wear.

the best heated eye mask I have found
I have a condition which requires daily application of a warmed eye mask. I have tried many different types and found these to be the easiest to use and most effective. All you need is hot water from the kettle and a mug or something to stand the mask in. I use an old insulated coffee screw top mug, which means I carry it up to bed with me and it stays hot until I am ready to use it. The other types were always cold by the time I had cleaned my teeth etc and was ready to use it. The pouch is comfortable and there is even a second gel pack, great value too. Really pleased I found these and would definitely recommend

I had to use both gel packs in the eye mask, not just one - as cooled down too quickly
To make these work for me I heated both gel packs up, letting the gel liquid gather up on one side, hooked onto the edge of a 500ml tin jar, and upon sitting there for 5 mins I fold over the empty side, and insert one per eye into the mask - retains the heat for the best part of 10 mins that way. Fine if you do it like that, honestly, but not so good at all if you only use one of them across the whole mask.May have been helpful if they had made each gel pack larger, with more gel, at least double the amount, but hey, they send you two, so it can be worked around.I've hated needing to use these - ended up with 3 chalazion things (however it's spelled), at once - nightmare, like knuckles poking out of my eyelids, for which these were very helpful, enabling me to shift a lot of the fluid caught up in them by massaging top to bottom for the upper lids, and bottom to top with the lower lids, for about 5 mins afterwards. If you've got blepharitis, which my optician confirmed for me some weeks later, you need to also keep your eyelids clean daily. I use baby shampoo some days, and this tea tree wipe you can get on others. Wash your lids. And if they keep coming back, those lumpy chalazion things, get them looked at, given recurring issues like this may indicate something somewhat sinister, some form of basal cell carcinoma, or other similarly miserable outcomes - Rare - but get checked if it keeps happening, however, if you've got blepharitis, or rather eye dandruff, as it's otherwise known, that's the likely cause. I had to go to eye A&E with the first one, because it got infected, which was truly a delightful experience - carrying with it an additional treatment regime to maintain, with eye blurring ointment drops - oh I could go on about this forever! (Get some hylo forte if you've got this going on as well - to keep those eyes hydrated!).Some of those Amazon "buy this with" recommendations, may be additionally helpful!I was hoping for something normal like sore joints, something simple, as I hit middle age, but no, well, I got those, but gammy eyes on top! You just never know what you're going to get!Miserable, but thankfully things like this exist among other aids. It's a pain to do though, 2 or 3 times a day, 10 mins at a time, taking additional time to do the other stuff. Still, if you suck it up, this compress element should be short-lived, however, keep up the eyelid washing for the long term! However, 3-4 times per week is all you need to do this for, with the massage, to keep the eyes reasonably stable thereafter. I'd also recommend using the product as I did - at least it worked well for me that way. It drops a star because of that workaround that I consider to be needed, otherwise good quality!
