Easy to use
It really does a nice job cutting chopping veggies, I use it a lot for coleslaw makes less of a mess. I bought a total of three for gifts last year and so glad I did. Thanks for a great product!!

Works, for now
Delightfully surprised. I have not used it very much BUT it does what it says it can do. That in itself is a plus. I did a couple of sauces for a dinner that I probably would not have done because of my time limit and all the chopping I needed to do. Hard boiled egg and chive sauce, Chives, parsley, capers, and olive sauce, garlic and parsley. All bright fresh and flavorful accompaniments for a dinner party done in just a few minutes. Chopped regularly, not shredded or puréed. Very pleased. A little bigger than I pictured it, but not big very quick and easy to manage. Not like bringing out the big guns. Glass bowl, not plastic and seems to be of good construction, not cheap. Hopefully it will last a long time.It seems to be of very so

It beats all the others.
Small to large pesto. I’ve made my own deviled ham, herbed salad dressing, hummus and something similar to bologna. It beats all the others, pun intended. And, it’s easy to clean. The screw loosened holding the blade guide and that cracked the glass bowl. They need to sell the glass bowls separately. So, be careful about larger cuts of meet and that the screw, stem that holds the blade, isn’t loose. I don’t put into dishwasher so that the cushion pad on bottom stays as long as possible. It is designed so well that it will pulverize small amounts unlike many others I have bought..

Nice Unit
A very nice unit well under what Cuisinart sells for. It has a 5 cup capacity, but with both blades my guess is 3 cups is the max usable volume unless it is more liquid than not. That said, still better than a Cuisinart at twice the price. The bowl is all glass, which is great! The blades and bowl handle the dishwasher with ease. The top of the bowl, however is plastic. It does well in the dishwasher, but I did wish it were glass as well. The motor I would consider to be slightly louder than the Cuisinart, but not by much. And unless you are running it for hours at a time, who cares?. The motor is plenty powerful. It is housed in stainless steel, but not industrial grade. That said, still better than the aforementioned brand. My major complaint is that the rubber base came loose the first dishwasher wash that happened. For most people this will be a non issue as the vibration noise on a normal countertop without the base is negligible. For those of us on a metal or stainless countertop the vibration is audible. Again, you're not running this for hours so not a big deal. The rubber base can be saved and placed under the unit and the problem is solved. Just don't throw it away.Bottom line, I like the unit. it has a nice volume, the blades are sharp. It is very dishwasher safe, and it does the chopping and pureeing as advertised. Dollar for dollar (or currency unit for currency unit) it is a better buy than Cuisinart. I can't speak for other brands as I have no experience with them. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Yes, I can see using this quite often in my kitchen. I am glad I took the chance on this product.

Junk. Do not buy.
I've had two of these units, and the motors burned up with minimal use in both of them. I was gifted one for my birthday from my wife, and after minimal use in a few months the motor seized and just didn't respond.I liked the concept and idea of it well enough and thought it was just a fluke so I purchased one on my own to replace it. The second time I used it the motor wound down very quickly in matter of five seconds and seized and stopped responding again.Additionally, even though it says dishwasher safe on it the first time running the bowl through the dishwasher the hot water loosens the adhesive and removes the nice foam bottom from the bowl. This is just common sense and I expected it to happen so I'm not too disappointed by it, but it is pretty dumb for the manufacturer to put that on their description. Also pretty dumb of the manufacturer is the place that one year warranty on the description page but not actually offer any way to get in contact with them to claim the warranty, to file the warranty, to do anything that even resembles a warranty. I'm straining to remember, I think I filled out a postcard and mailed that six months ago. I regret not making a copy of it in case there is a phone number on there, but either way I never got a response for that and have no way of contacting Mosaic kitchen.Anyway, don't waste your money buy something else.

So easy to use.
Since I bought this, I had used it for everything: pancake mix, meat chopping o salad. Just press, and CHOP! It is also very easy to clean. You can take the blades apart and wash! The glass container is also very easy for me to see the progress. Thank you!!

Terrific food chopper
I bought this product after sending back a cheaply made manual chopper from China. What a difference!. I believe this is German-made. It is very easy to use and it is powerful. It chopped carrots, nuts and everything else I tried, efficiently and effortlessly. I say, forget about manual choppers. This electric machine does far than any manual product ever could. A+++++

So many great features- but made in China
Love the glass bowl with the slip stop pad on the bottom. It has four blades instead of two!!! When I read the directions for use, I was worried that only running it 15 seconds at a time (and allowing a minute to cool down) would be a problem, but today I just chopped four medium sized chunks of roast beef in that 15 seconds. Wow! But--- when I tried to chop dill pickles for our sandwich meat, it didn't do such a great job. It pulverized part of the pickle and left julienne style strips as well. It worked for my sandwich meat and I will continue to use it. I used it also for chopping frozen fruit for a smoothie and it worked well for that. This chopper is a real time saver! I recommend it. It is made in China though, which I didn't know until it arrived. Amazon needs a sort by "made in America!"
