Powerful hand blender
I looked at quite a few hand blenders on the same price range, but this one was definitely the most powerful. It is easy to use, to unscrew to clean, but as the head where the blade is quite small, it is not that easy to clean. The plastic gets stained very easily, but it is not a big deal. The product is very good.

Very effective
Bought to replace a previous version which came with two size heads. Sadly, they don't fit this new model . However, this model is good enough to liquidize soups etc and I'm pleased with it.

A real asset in the kitchen
I bought the Hand blender when the old one (very old) broke down. Another Kenwood I thought and I found the 600Watt triblade HDP 109WG. That curved blade sees off the lumps the old blender always left and the motor is stronger and deals with the soup blending a treat. The whisk is a bit fast but soon got the hang of that and batter is made so easily. The chopper blends the salsa nicely and the measuring beaker is an asset in the kitchen. The set gets a lot of use and the gadgets are a simple twist of the wrist to change from one to another. Very good value. Altogether a worthwhile asset.

Great as a smoothie maker
It has only been used to blend fruit to make smoothies and it does this task well. It is very easy to clean. It came with no attachments and no container for blending. I was surprised at this, but that is only because I did not read the small print closely enough, so my fault. However, this must be the third or fourth hand blender I have bought over the years and all the others came with whisk attachment for cream and a container, so I just expected this to be the same. Moral of the story, read the description, don’t assume.

Quiet, efficient hand blender
I wanted a reliable, reasonably priced hand blender for home-made soups. I was a little fed-up with all the weird and wonderful brands on Amazon and so decided to buy a blender from a name that I know (and yes - I realise that it is highly likely that it comes from the same factory as the other more obscure brands but...).This item arrived quickly and was packaged well. Instructions were comprehensive and clear. There are three reasonably sized metal blades - closer examination reveals that each blade is angled slightly differently to the others. The blades are housed in a detachable plastic wand that twist-fits on to the upper section which contains the motor and switches. In use, the plastic housing helps to ensure that non-stick coatings are not scratched. The blender also creates a sucking action, probably because of the blade design, that pulls it into the pan (which initially felt quite bizarre) but it does make the blending process more efficient. The motor is fairly quiet which is a bonus. There are two motor speeds but I found the lower one to be more than up to the job of making soup.My previous blender was difficult to clean, mostly because the blade section could not be detached from the motor section which could not be washed. This Kenwood model has a detachable lower part that makes cleaning the blades a doddle.Recommended.

Very good and handy.
Got it for my mrs and she loves it. Very handy sleek thing and wont take up much space and does everything needed to be done as if now. Been using it for few months now have no issues what so ever.

Very efficient
This seems like a pretty heavy duty machine. It's very quick and makes light work of a lumpy vegetablesoup. The only drawback is that some liquid ends up in the handle tube, which you have to watch out for; I burned my hand after first use
