A Ghost Tale for Christmas Time (Magic Tree House Merlin Mission) Paperback – Illustrated, September 25, 2012

This book series is worth ten stars. I read these to my kindergarten class and the kids love them. The stories are well written, educational, and keep the children enthralled. In addition, the books invoke the children's imaginations and usually lead them to create their own Jack and Annie adventures.

I was forced to buy this book for the school library because my daughter checked it out and then proceeded to lose it. I mean, how do you lose a book while in the confines OF A HOUSE? I forbid any library books from leaving the house (because I'm smart like that) and we even have a designated library book basket (because I'm organized like that) and STILL this one managed to squeak by. For months we looked for this book and it never surfaced. It's quite possible the magic contained within this Magic Treehouse book caused it to magically disappear? So, BUYER BEWARE.Just kidding. Magic Treehouse books are great. Obviously this one must be good since the Library noticed it was gone. I bet if we had checked out one of those dreadful Fairy books they wouldn't have muttered a word. (my daughter likes those, too) Ocean Fairies #1: Ally the Dolphin Fairy: A Rainbow Magic Book

Mary Pope Osborne's books are written for young to mid elementary aged children. This series is a wonderful one, full of adventure and learning. As an educator I have used these books to teach science and history. The information presented and readiability level is very age appropriate.

The newest installment of The Magic Tree House series was at the top of my 8 year old son's Christmas list and it did not disappoint. He has read all the other books in the series and had been waiting anxiously for this one. Next up..."A Crazy Day with Cobras" set for release on January 11th! He can't wait. These books are all terrific!

Sent this book as a Christmas gift to my little nephew, and he loved it. He's collecting the series.

I ordered this book some of the pages started coming on glued where they made the book Amazon did replace it everything is fine now my grandkids they love me reading these books to them.

I am an ESL teacher and my student loves these books. He gets to pick them on line and I order right in front of him. He gets so excited because they arrive within a couple of days. He is willing to read independently for practice and knows he will get immediate rewards when he finishes a book. This seller's timimg is terrific!

Buy it, you'll like it. My student loved this book. Mary Pope Osborne does a fantastic job of bringing her characters to life! The plots have little twists that are really captivating.
