La Valse in Full Score (Dover Orchestral Music Scores) Paperback – May 1, 1997

I just received the score today and I'm already in love with it. What a wonderful piece!The writing is exquisite and the print is very easy to read. The score itself is durable and, with a little pressing, lies flat on a table or music stand. It's the largest size available (which is what I prefer) and, most importantly to the starving music student, it's cheap!A must for musicians and concert-goers alike.

Although this is a "miniature" score, the print and presentation are clear and legible. Well worth the price, and an excellent addition to anyone's score collection.

Ravel's "La Valse" is a complicated work, and reading the score only astounds you more when you look at it first hand. It's a must read for anyone who studies orchestral writing as the details within are mind-boggling! I've always loved the Dover Music Scores, mostly because they come in large print, easy to read, and sturdy enough to relax and watch or play on a piano! Excellent addition to your collection of scores, highly recommended!
