I like it
Has a very cool look to it. I ordered this for my 16 FLHTKL. I'm 6'2" and in one of those "sort of between" height ranges when it comes to windshields. I got this with the thought that it would be low enough to see over and have enough recurve to get the airstream over my head. For riding around town, it's absolutely great. When I start getting up over 70 though (80 or 90), my helmet still gets caught up in the airstream and my head bops around. I just need to hunch down a bit and it's fine, but probably could use another inch higher.Just about EVERY windshield out there IS cheaper - and would be great if this WERE a bit cheaper - hence the 4 rating on value. It IS a quality piece of equipment for my Ultra though all considered. Also had questions if the Kuryakyn Batwing Fairing pouch WOULD fit - it does. Conforms nicely to the curves of the fairing. I got a couple waves in it that match the fairing but DOES fit. When you mount them both together, make sure you don't push the pouch too far down or you WILL block off your "anti-bobble" air flow from the fairing.

1/8 inch gap left right of center bolt fix in my review
I own a 2018 Harley SGS I'm 5.8 I went with the 6.5 blacked out flare to match my vivid blackedout bike. I initially installed it and had a gap left and right side so I looked back at the instructions and it states start with the outside bolts first hand tightened each equally however, still an issue not until I applied a little pressure on the edge of the shield buckling it a little while using my are to apply pressure on the trim and tighten left to right did I was able to eliminate both gaps. It's tricky but the windshield fits you have to work at it a little to get it perfect. As for the riding now why didn't I get it sooner it's like a different bike way more enjoyable at higher speeds over 50+ also, no more helmet buffeting and I can hear my stock radio super clear now.I give it 5 stars for quality I didn't want to go with a $30 alternative that isn't even close to the stock one for safety and quality. Klock werks should update their instructions with some troubleshooting Incase people run into the same issue as me I didn't think a gap of about 1/8th of an inch was normal yes it's tricky but don't give up I went back and started over and follow the instructions to the key still had a gap again keep bolts loose hand tighten equal apply a little buckle pressure at each end to give it a bow curve tighten at same time using your left arm to keep pressure on the trim do this Incase you run into same issue as me

Good Quality
To start with the windshield helps a great deal with buffeting at highway speeds. A great improvement over the stock windshield. In my photo there is a before and after picture of the front of my bike and windshield after I had a bird strike. Yes, a bird strike! A very very very large bird. A white Florida Crane. id estimate to be at least 10lbs. The bird took off an from the side of the road and cut right into the front of the bike striking the fearing and windshield while I was traveling somewhere between 45 to 50mph. The bird was directed up and over the bike and us! "Major Pucker Factor" after getting home and cleaning the carnage off the front of the bike I was shocked not to find any damage to the windshield. Any doubt or remorse over spending $180 for the windshield is gone!

I didn't know I needed it!
I was non-the-wiser when it came to windshields. I was getting a lot of buffering with the stock HD windshield and ended up researching different ones. I ordered the 6.5" Klock Werks FLARE windshield and immediately loved it. The buffering has significantly decreased 95% and I can hear my music in the highways now!The ride is now so much more enjoyable and I can't believe I didn't make this purchase in day 1 of owning my 21 HD-SG special. I cannot explain how much more I love riding now that the buffering has stopped, I can hear my music and my neck muscles aren't sore from fighting the wind.... oh, and I can't wear my hat without worrying about the w8nd taking it away.I'm 6'2" and I think the 6.5" works for me. I have poor posture so I can get away with it. I may upgrade to a size up if I ever get a passenger... but for now content.Don't wait.....buy it already!

Looks and works better on my bike.
Have had this on my bike for over a year now. I think it actually looks better than the shorter windshield that came on my bike. It does cut down on the wind. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is that it shakes a little at high speeds.

No more bobble head!!!!!
Very easy to install the windshield. Plus the directions they give are really helpful if you’re not sure how to put it on. You can also go online to getklocked.com for further instruction. ...So, I just received my shipment of the Klock Werks 6.5 inch shield today, installed it, then took it for a short test run on my 2017 HD Street Glide. I chose this size after going online to the Klock Werks YouTube videos to see their Recommended measurement test to know what would be the best size for me. I highly recommend you measure before buying. My Short test ride just going down the street turned into a 50 miles taking backroads and highways. I found that when I closed my front air vent on the fairing, I felt a little air swirl around my face area. Nothing big. However, when the vent was open I barely felt any wind, and I might have gone passed 65 on the highway to test that out. Not sure why that happened, so I have some more test rides to do. Overall, the ride for me was so much better than when I was riding with my stock windshield. And did not experience and bobble head for this 6’3 guy. I know I have more riding to really test it out, but so far I really love the difference. Hope this helps.

Measuring
Careful of your measurement Klock Werks don’t measure from top of faring to top of windshield they measure from top of faring to where the windshield curve starts. I ordered 6” got81/2 “ because of that. But they replaced it with 5” and that worked out to 6” over all just right. Looks great works great and now I can see over it.
