Best source of iron when I had anemia , I needed to build blood platelets fast! Paired with vitamin C, and either foods I was already eating or in tablets with the supplement for best absorption of the iron. Also help my father when he had a G.I. bleed rebuild blood platelets quickly after he lost a liter of blood. Two days on the supplement and he was getting color in his face back! Have purchased three bottles of the same brand now and love the quality. So I wasn't probably going to start eating liver often. These I can take on the regular. I think they help. For goodness sake taste-complainers, put some pleasant-tasting juice or tea in your cup so you mostly taste that, and breathe in BEFORE you pop these suckers in your mouth so as to not breathe in over them. I purchased this, Pancreas and Cartilage from Codeage. I wanted to try something cheaper than Ancestral Supplements, but “hopefully” better quality. When I first saw these pills, they were whitish-yellow. Nothing like the liver pills from AS. I had similar bottles in AS for the other ones too, and both looked different in color as well. ALL the Codeage capsules I received from all products I bought, were the same whitish-yellow. Plus they were smaller in size compared to the AS ones. I had a sneaking suspicion that I didn’t get what I paid for, due to the color being off compared to AS, and the capsules were a bit smaller. If they had the same amount of organs per capsule stated on their label, compared to AS, then how could they smaller, AND have the same exact capsule count? Needless to say that my suspicion was confirmed when I read a review for the Codeage Organs and saw someone mentioned the same thing about the color, and that there was potentially an overuse of rice filler/agent. Don’t buy these, and if you do, get a refund if you notice all the pills look whitish-yellow. Freeze-dried organ meats should have color to them...UPDATE:Just found other reviews and questions posted about this same thing happening for Kidney and Spleen by this company. This all can’t be a coincidence that soooooo many pills across different products of theirs are white in color. And now I’ve found out that for all three products of theirs that I purchased, I was basically taking rice powder or whatever filler agent they use with the pills, for a month straight.......
