I used to be a professional tiler and have used Rubi tile cutters for years, there definitely the best cutters you can buy, and if you look after them they last for years. I brought this one to tile my bathroom with 600 x 300 10mm thick tiles, and it cut through them perfectly

Ignore other poor reviews. Just laid 50m2 of 600x12mm porcelain tiles and performed superbly, clean straight cuts, accurate and great splitting strength if scored correctly. Great bit of kit

I am not happy with this cutter as every tile that we cut using this tile cutter did not cut cleanly, just broke unevenly and wasted the tile. In the end we had to borrow our builders tile cutter which is 8 years old and is called Speed Plus Rubi Max to cut the tiles for our new extension floor and walls. We would like it exchanged or money refunded as it is rubbish and cannot believe that we paid for this item which has no use for us and waste of our time and money

Looks like a good made product but doesn't do the job. Couldn't cut even a single tile without cracking a tile. Spoiled 5 large tiles were cost me hundred of pounds. Absolutely useless tile cutter
