Great Flute
Beginners to collegiate, this is a great flute. I only play it on occasion, as my main is clarinet and second is alto sax. But when I pick this guy up, he works flawlessly, minus my own imperfections as I don't practice enough! Lol! :D

Good beginner flute. I am a poor flute player (age 76; just started after piano, sax, and electric bass).

Half the price of purchasing through school.
At half the price of purchasing through the school, this flute is excellent for the beginning band student. Excellent hard shell case and plays very well. The music teacher was impressed at its low cost for the quality.

Received 2 defective flutes, returned them both and the seller insulted me, saying I should take lessons.

If you wear makeup, get the Gemeinhardt with the ...
If you wear makeup, get the Gemeinhardt with the gold lip plate, or don't wear makeup. Some people (like me) can get a "green underlip" from the silver/nickle reacting to the makeup. I returned this and got the Gemeinhardt with gold.
