This is a great product for closets and cupboards that do not have available electricity. They are nice and bright, motion detection works very well, and they are very easy to install. I prefer using batteries because the unit can be used immediately after changing batteries, no waiting for a recharge at the plug.

I have used these several times and they do the job very well. It allows for great lighting in our hallway when we don’t want to turn on the big light. Great to have in the home.

I ordered these to put inside a deep pantry cabinet so we could see what was inside. They had a nice solid feel and were just the right size. They could not be any easier to install! I peeled the back off of the tape and stuck the whole thing just inside of the door, light attaches magnetically to tape for easy battery change. Tested them out - PERFECT! They would come on when I opened the door and turn off automatically around 60 seconds after I closed the door. I tested them two or three times and they worked just as expected.I did not tell my husband about them and waited for his surprise and amazement the first time he opened the cabinet. Imagine MY surprise and amazement when NOTHING HAPPENED. I went and removed one to test. NOTHING. batteries out then in again. It flashed as I closed the battery cover then NOTHING.being inside a closed cabinet they should not be activating at all unless the door is opened. Just walking through the kitchen is not enough to trigger. Given that info the batteries should last a lifetime. I tested the ones I took from the first failure and popped them into a battery tester and they are solidly in the green, not 100% but still only halfway to the 'it is getting kind of weak' line.for the first half hour I used them they were the perfect solution. Too bad it did not last longer. I will think about returning them but not sure if it is worth the hassle.9-7-19 revision. After more time it appears that they DO work, they just don't like my kitchen light. When the ceiling light is off they work just as expected but if the kitchen light is on at any time of day the lights refuse to come on when the cabinet is opened. The light is attached to the 'ceiling' of the cabinet in the shadow of the inner door frame (maybe 2" high). The light from the ceiling fixture never touches the inside cabinet fixture. Apparently it thinks there is enough light even though inside the cabinet is still very shadowy.Upgrading from 1 star (because it did not appear to work) to 3 stars (because they work sometimes).

These lights are just amazing! Very bright and come on as soon as you enter. We installed in our closet that had a pull cord light. Best decision you could ask for. Now what to do with the other ònes? We will think of something

Absolutely useless and defective. I have only had them barely a month and all the batteries are burned out - it uses 4 AAA, works fine normally, but there is not that much activity in our kitchen for them to burn out that fast. Garbage. I would stay far away from this useless defective product.

These lights are awesome. I have them on my stairwell and on my upstairs hallway.
