Smells good, very green, a n d fresh smelling. Great for cooking foods and as an added herb baking breads. A little pricey for the amount of ounces you receive. The container this sweet Basil arrived in had a one and a half inch gap to the top of the container. Dried Sweet Basil is a tad challenging to find in my area.

This is a hard to find product in the grocery stores
I was thrilled to find this spice for sale at last! I haven't seen Sweet Basil for sale in any super markets in years. It is a main ingredient for authentic Italian red sauce and it makes a difference in the flavor of recipes calling for Sweet Basil rather than just Basil. Thank you for having it available. The packaging is great and you get a generous portion for a reasonable cost.
