Had been using old-school HDD as OS/Boot drive for past 11 years; and daily tasks on PC was vintage-car-speed-slow.Recently in August 2018, bought my first SSD (Crucial MX 500; 500 GB). Noticed immediate Speed in daily tasks like PC got upgraded to V8-car-speed teritory. What an upgrade!!Then, I built my #BlueBeast [i9 9900K] and it deserved nothing less than #HypercarSpeed; i.e. 970 Pro / 970 Evo with at least 1 TB capacity as OS/Boot drive.Been looking for 970 Evo 1 TB for a while, but price of this thing was skyrocketting at PC stores/Amazon.Then, I noticed ₹26,508 price on Amazon.in; and it was more than a great deal as 970 Evo 1 TB was pricing around ₹36,000-₹38,000 everywhere until now. I couldn't wait and pulled the trigger; bought this #Hyperdrive.This thing is FAST, I mean really really FAST.Thanks Amazon for the Great Deal!

I used this to upgrade the storage on my 2017 MacBook Air. I am getting write speeds of around 1100+ MB/s and Write Speed of 1350+ MB/s which is more than twice that of the the older drive. But I did notice the machine does heat up more. So time will tell how good the heat dissipation of the drive is. Will post an update once this has been in use for some time.Update: it’s been nearly 2 yrs that I installed this drive. Seems to be working fine. Perfect integration with the Mac OS. Have noted some heating issue but not sure if all of it is due to the drive since my Mac is 5+ yrs old. But it has increased longevity of my device no doubt. I would absolutely recommend this to all.

I bought it for work not gaming if you just want to game. BUY a normal SATA SSD is enough I bought it for work I do so I can store my cache files (10 to 100 GB) to NVMe then can read by Application without any lag buying new motherboard and over 128 GB ram is too expensive for me when prices are hiking crazyfk this pandemic

Not providing screw is a stupid move . Even if i get it with my motherboard why don't they provide one extra

Blazingly fast as everybody knows that Samsung is best in SSDs.Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB has very fast speed. Slightly lower than Samsung 970 Pro. You can even identify the difference.Really value for money.

Samsung continues to impress with their storage devices. Moving to this after HDDs, the difference is night and day. If you are looking to upgrade anything in your old PC, one of these should be the top priority.
