Honouring Sheetalá this weekend on Her Asthami, the Goddess of warding off illnesses, on an auspicious note, I finally placed my ever first Amazon fresh orders of the most basic household Sátvic food item; my regularly used Devaaya (as the name suggests) Básmati rice of Daawat. Loving the fact that it arrives on the day itself, I also loved the very neat and professional looking 5kg package; all strong and easy to carry around provided with a sturdy handle. And at this most affordable rate, qualitywise when compared to it's competitors, to agree with the majority reviews out here, it is indeed a wonderful long grain, which is also efficient to cook and mildly fragrant to support a variety of rice dishes or even delicious to be consumed with any simplistic 'ghar ki daal'. On a personal level, to me, this rice emits a very down-to-earth vibe.
