The Pampered Chef Small Scoop #2530

Perfect size for cookies and mini muffins. Very well made.

I needed a little bit bigger. Nice cookie scoop though.

I have read other reviews on other cookie dough spoons and was worried about the sturdiness of the Perfect Chef small Scoop. I needn't. It works like a charm, dropping perfectly sized domes of delight on the cookie sheet. In addition, the repeatability has resulted in the best quality of oatmeal raisin cookies that I've yet baked. The spoon cleans up in no time. Thanks.

I read a good number of the reviews before ordering this item. They were accurate in terms of this scoop holds up. Like many others reviewers we tried other scoops but they all failed immediately or after a few usages but not this Pampered Chef scoop. I thought it was too small initially but it’ll be put to good use.

I don't make cookies very often. Until recently, I've been using a tablespoon or teaspoon to scoop very heavy dough onto a cookie sheet.Not too long ago a friend came to visit and advised us to use a cookie scooper.I bought the "internet's best" scooper and promptly returned it for various issues you can read in my review of that item.I wanted to buy the OXO small scooper because I am very satisfied with all the other OXO products I currently own.However, some of the reviews of the OXO cookie scooper talked about problems with the scooper releasing the cookie dough after several uses. After my experience with the aforementioned "internet's best" unit, I didn't want to try my luck again. (Here on Maui, we don't have a great product selection locally in order to try out in person).So I went with a user comment that said the OXO unit also had issues with tough cookie dough and recommended the Pampered Chef scoop.Well, all I can say is that after my first use with this product - it did exactly what I needed it to do. It released all scoops evenly and easily.Yeah it cost a bit more but it was worth it.

So, you know how it is when you buy someone a gift and they are excited and then it breaks when they are just trying it out just out of the package? Well, that was my experience with the "cookie scoop" I gifted my daughter with. I should have gone with Pampered Chef in the beginning. I've had mine for years and years without a hitch but I was in a hurry and didn't know any dealers. Thank you Amazon. Now she has a good scoop that will last for years.

How can you go wrong with the quality of Pampered Chef products? I have tried to buy other brands and it always comes back to being a waste of money. This proves that you get what you pay for and what I paid for was well worth it. A quality, sturdy product that will be a kitchen staple for years to come
