At the aquarium store they only have the small bottle(1 3/4oz) that lasts no time at all. This is a 4oz jar and the price is a lot more reasonable compared to the smaller bottle. Good quality, my fish love it

I feed this to salt water fish and usually squirt a bit of Selcon on them. Even finicky Bangaii Cardinals will eat it. At first only with the Selcon, but now they eat them as soon as they hit the water whether I've squirted them or not. You'll run into a bit of fines at the bottom and usually I'll run them through a strainer when I'm getting to the bottom of the jar to clean them up.

I bought this plankton for my peacock cichlids. When the product arrived the safety seal that keeps the product fresh was open. It was not open a small amount but half way off the seams. I said to myself it would be more work to return than it was worth. After awhile I realized that the product was not what I had gotten in the past. I always get San Fransico plankton and this was primarily plankton dust and struggling on the whole plankton that my fish love so dearly. Not sure if this was tampered with but it surely seems that way.
