Popchips Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips Single Serve 0.8 oz Bags (Pack of 24)

I was a little hesitant to try these, especially after reading such mixed reviews although overall they were positive. However, I liked the idea that they are healthier than regular chips and I figured they would be great for school lunches, quick snacks, etc. I decided to give them a try and figured if we did not like them, they could be donated. I ordered a mixed case the first time around to see which flavors we liked more (or less) and thought that would give us a good sampling. After deciding we liked most of the flavors, we decided to try other ones as well.Despite the flavor preferences, these chips do not taste like cardboard. At first taste, they are a little crunchier and thicker than you might expect. I think this is a good thing, because it means they are not heavily-laden with oil. The 0.8 oz bags are 100 calories each as well, which is much better than the other alternatives and gives you the enjoyment of chips without the extra calories, trans fat, etc.I have included a summary of opinions below from myself, friends and family for each flavor:Sea Salt & Vinegar - Great, the absolute favorite flavor for everyoneBBQ - Very good, I'm not crazy about BBQ to begin with but would say this flavor is "sweet" BBQ. Everyone else loved them.Cheddar - Very Good, probably close in preference to the BBQOriginal Potato - Good, but a little salty (seems to fluctuate somewhat between bags)Salt & Pepper - Good, everyone liked them but preferred other flavors moreParmesan Garlic - Good, but overall was 50/50. You definitely taste more parmesan than garlic and most people were expecting the latter.Sour Cream & Onion - Not so good, no one really liked these enough to want more or to even finish the bagI know taste is a very subjective thing, but I hope this review helps someone decide to give these a try. I did get them at a reduced price through subscribe & save, and shortly after my first order, Amazon had them on the Gold Box for an even better price. I think the average price per bag came out to approximately forty six cents a bag and had free shipping under my prime account.

I've loved Sour Cream & Onion potato chips ever since I was a kid. When Pop chips first came out I thought to myself "man these are good... but they don't have my favorite flavor." Then, BOOM... I see this on amazon years later and ordered a pack of 24 (pretty overkill, right?). Needless to say, I spaced them all out and paced myself through 4 months. I am finally down to my last bag after giving a few away and eating the majority of them haha.SC&O Pop Chips are amazing, great little snacks which brought back my childhood memories with the added bonus of being a bit healthier than normal potato chips.I'll definitely be purchasing this flavor again, but maybe not go so overboard this time around... I'll probably end up buying a variety pack to change up the taste every now and then.What I did notice, though, was that there were a couple chips in a couple bags that seemed to have gone stale, and required a toss in the trash (along with a tear down my cheek for wasting such a precious bite).

They are good option. We're intact and good quality. Good flavor. Nice crunch!

I was given this product in the hospital but only bbq and plain. I really liked the sour cream and onion over the other two flavors. It is the perfect size for someone on a heart healthy diet.

Somewhere between a rice cake and a potato chip in texture, PopChips are an excellent low calorie snacking choice. I've tried all of the available flavors and here is my assessment of each:Barbeque - A little too sweet for my taste but not bad overallJalapeno - High on Spice, not too salty, not much other flavor. I guess I was hoping for a cheesy jalapeno.Original - Not super flavorful but great for dippingCheddar - YummyParmesan Garlic - So Garlicky. Good but make for stinky breathSalt & Pepper - GoodSea Salt & Vinegar - If you like Vinegar you might like these but I wasn't as big of a fan of them as I expectedSour Cream & Onion - Hands down the BEST flavor

I was first introduced to these chips at work. My job is attempting to do a wellness initiative. They sought out snack items that where low in calories and other nonessentials but full of taste. Everyone love these chips and I love them enough to go out on Amazon and purchase them as a healthy snack options. I would highly recommend it to all of you who love to snack on chips. I don’t think he will be disappointed. Be sure to try some of the other flavors.

We get these ALL the time, so we knew right away after opening the bags that something was "off". Some of the bags were okay, but most of them smelled bad. And because the taste wasn't TOO bad, one of us ate in anyway and had a stomach ache after...gross. Because we went through about 6 normal ones, we were unable to return them...so we paid for more than half that were inedible.Also, I didn't see a way to reach out to the seller for special cases like this...because we've been pleased with every other batch we've gotten, I would have rather spoke directly to them to handle the matter and possibly get a refund or a new batch shipped out to replace the bad ones...but I had to resort to just leaving a negative review instead.

I was recently put on a strict diet due to stomach issues.Found these and read how they are just pure potatoes with no added crap like regular chips. My favorites were always the sour cream and onion ruffles. Decided to try these and they were delicious! Like, yum! And you can def taste that its pure potato. I also love that each bag is only 100 cals so no guilt. I now keep these in my office and bedroom for when I need a snack.I def plan on trying out their other flavors and these are now my go-to chips!
