Helikon-TexPossum Cordura® Waist Bag

This bag is fairly durable and certainly made of good material and great craftsmanship. I have not been disappointed by Helikon-Tex and plan to purchase more from them. The only thing I don’t like is that when the bag is loaded it gets a little bulgy and the back does not stay flat against you. Though, it is loaded down. Otherwise an excellent bag with good organization

Great size, pockets and material/construction. Perfect for EDC or travel. When I travel with a back pack you can attach to the front and use as a chest pack. Good zippers and looks great.

This pack is awesome. It’s described well. The strap could be longer, but it suits me well. I used it for my Disney vacation and held everything I needed. The pocket sizes hold most objects you’d want to carry in something like this. The rubberized pull tabs with a parachord-type material are strong. I carry it daily now and whether I wear it across my chest or around my waist, it does what I need. After several weeks of use, there are still no signs of wear.

This is an amazing fanny with one major drawback. It is truly the perfect size. I think the bandicoot is a little too big, it can fit any pistol and with more space in side. Back to the possum, it will fit a full size compact like the G19, perfectly. However with one big draw back NO VELCRO. Come on helikon!! it’s on the bandicoot why not the possum??So i took it upon my self to very crudely cut the organizer and sew on a velcro backing. With that being said i loose the functionality of the back zipper and the belt loop too, which is fine because that pocket is too small to fit anything anyways. So here is my frankenstein Possum, and my message to helikon is PLEASE but velcro backing and add in the removable organizer like the bandicoot. I would rate this a 3 stars but since i added the velcro it’s 4 stars. would be 5 stars and a completely happy review if there was velcro already installed.

Perfect size for summer edc.

This thing is well made, especially for the price point. I keep a Sig P365 as my concealed carry weapon and it lives in this pack, it takes up nearly the whole pack but it fits nicely. It’s been with me on countless drives and flights right now and has not given up on me. No signs of deteriorating or wearing down yet, Velcro is nice as I can easily switch my unit patch with any others. The loops are great for attaching my wallet and keys and other accessories when I need to free up room in the main compartment. I’ve used many fanny packs and I’ve bought them from many different sources including GovX but right now this one is my favorite. Only thing to be aware of is the zipper closest to the body is a bit sharp and will need to be tucked or modified slightly to be more comfortable sometimes.

The waist strap is just too small, and I wish the company would make them longer so more people can use it.

The media could not be loaded. Quality is excellent. Don't think the zipps are ykk but seem of equal quality. Fabric is tough kevlar. Plently of pockets. One side attaches to the pouch with a clip and one side with a hook. I fit my extra phone, wallet, keys, business cards, pen, knife with some extra room. Love the camo print, I got the Rhodesian brush stroke and love it. Big chunks or tan break up the structure of the appearance. Not that it matters. I got this one because I wanted a quality fanny pack. Most others I've seen are cheaply made. This one seems strong and will last decades.
