PPI Structural Engineering Solved Problems for the SE Exam, 7th Edition – Comprehensive Practice in Structural Engineering Concepts, Methods, and Standards for the NCEES SE Exam

Agreed with reviewer above that this is overkill for the SE. I've also found it to have a lot of logical gaps in the solutions and a few typos (which the author requests to submit on his website). It doesn't make for efficient studying when you spend more time trying to understand the author's thought process than learning the engineering concepts. Nevertheless, helpful for general practice, but seems to be preying on eager examinees with "Problems for the SE Exam" as its title.

The book is good with a variety of questions on Concrete, Steel, and Wood, although not CMU. The problems are an overkill for the SE. Refer to the NCEES official practice problem before this to get an idea of the actual difficulty level.
