I researched, waited to try to get best price, hemmed and hawed ... Then finally took the plunge. I am so glad I did! This is the best machine I've ever owned, and I will be buying again as gifts.I've used the vacuum several times daily since purchasing; they have quickly become favorites.Decent suction, easy maintenance and emptying of the dirt chamber. Powerful and relatively quiet. I replaced three corded vacuums with this set. The replaced machines still worked well (So I thought), but I was looking to replace three units with one, with the ease and portability of cordless. As many have done, when I received this vacuum I used the current vacuums, then the new machine. I will echo what has been said...I was surprised that the new machine picked up so much more dirt and pet hair.The battery life is outstanding. Just deplete fully before you recharge, and don't leave on charger. I am not an electrical engineer, but I've read this is key to ensuring long-life with batteries, esp. lithium. IMO, from years of using these tools I think it is valid ..I have some batteries still going strong after 8 years of use.

After my Dyson cordless vacuum started having issues I looked for a replacement vacuum and chose the Gtech AirRam2 Platinum.I am quite impressed so far! It has far better suction and pick up than the Dyson I had.I have 3 long haired pets and I need a good vacuum! The Gtech works amazingly for this.It’s lightweight, quiet, easy to assemble and use and does an incredible job cleaning carpet and hard surfaces. I am finding it performs far better than Dyson and Shark!I also got the handheld vacuum they sell and am so in love with it! It’s perfect for furniture, stairs and it has attachments for cobwebs and getting into smaller areas.I hope the longevity is as good as everything else. Fingers crossed that it will last a long time and keep working as well as it does now.

I am so delighted with this vacuum!!! Both the handheld and the upright, for ease of use, suction power, works great on hard floors as well as carpet, The battery lasts long enough to finish the job...and I have a 1400 square foot home. Thanks for making a quality cordless vacuum! Excellent value for the money. Worth every penny.

AirRam Platinum upright: lightweight, good suction, powerful rotating brush, anti-hair wind feature was once reason for purchase. Time will tell on this after many uses. Stylish lines. Easy assembly and all parts easily removable to cleaning. Leaves nice pattern on carpet pile. Basically pleased with it.Multi-Platinum Handheld: good suction and powerful rotating brush very nice for using on stairsteps. Pleased with functionality. Downside for this unit is the scented filter which is not optional (wha-a-a-a-t!!!!). Very strong /and unpleasant to me. Smells up the whole house. Cannot operate without it in place. After several e-mails with different people at support, finally one told me to try soaking the filter to remove the scent oils. Also another model's compatible filter does not force the scent on you, so I could order one of those. Good to know. Currently trying to soak the scent out, but don't expect to totally get rid of it. Guess I'll have to pay for the compatible filter.If not for the scented filter, I would give 5-stars.

Great cordless vacuum with lots of power! Cleans rugs and hardwood floors beautifully. Charges rapidly and maneuvers easily.

This vacuum is great. Long lasting battery life. I got the platinum and the hand held, both are great. Easy to maneuver, picks up good. Stands on it's own. Easy to clean. And I like the light in front.I would recommend this vacuum

After 3 months, a rubber strip from the bottom of the vacuum fell off. Tried to put back, but just kept falling off. Vacuum still works, but rubber strip aids in performance, so not as well. tried contacting G-tech and was told that there are no parts available in the US and that Amazon is their official US customer support team after sale. This is obviously a joke as Amazon will do nothing after 30 days. When troubleshooting on Amazon, there are no appropriate options even listed and a dead end. So beware. There is NO warranty if purchased in the US.

First one was great but had a rattle. Returned it with no issues. Bought the combo pack and WOW!!!, love them both and very happy I got the combo pack this time. 6 bedroom house and cleans like my corded with eaze. Thinking about “gifting” a few for birthdays this year. AMAZING!!! Planning to get another being one for first floor and second floor of my house.
