I am a renter. Is this easy to remove like nothing was in windows later on?

Absolutely! It's like the Santa Claus your mom used to stick on the window at Christmas. Seriously it sticks really well if the glass is clean and peals right off if you need to adjust it or remove it. I like it a lot. Have had it for a couple of months. Get it!

Do you need to buy the film application tool kit?

I am glad I did, as the blade on the cutter tool is short so as not to cut surface beneath film. Any Exacto or other knife would potentially damage underneath surface or scratch glass. That alone made the kit worthwhile. The spray bottle and squeegee also made application easy.

can you see out but not in

I've had this for years. If someone wants to snoop at your windows and walks right up to it and presses their face against it then they can see right through it. From the street in front of your house though, you can only see vague shadows through it and nothing at all exact. From my perspective inside, it serves the purpose I got it for (not seeing ugly views outside my windows). It also casts beautiful rainbows across your rooms when the light hits it certain ways, like sunrise and sunset.

Can you cut this for different sizes?
