ACDelco GM Original Equipment A3202C Air Filter

I got this for my Chevy Cruise 2016, and it works perfectly. I had some auto crew guys put it in, but it was easy to install into my car. The quality is great and the air is perfect. Was skeptical at first since it’s off-brand and coming from Amazon, but I’m glad I made this purchase. Highly recommend if you need an air filter in a pinch.

This filter is for my 2018 Chevrolet Cruze hatchback RS Premier. It is an exact replacement of the original GM air filter. I did watch a video to learn how to install the filter.

Fits perfectly in my 2016.5 Cruze, as it should considering it’s OEM, and they last great. Are you hesitant to purchase a filter to install yourself? Not mechanically inclined? Don’t worry, this is one of the easiest things you’ll ever do with your car and you can save yourself money by not paying a mechanic’s labor cost. It will take you maybe 5 or 10 minutes, just look it up on YouTube. A flat head and a Phillips screwdriver is all you will probably need for the job.I made the mistake once of trying to save 10 dollars by buying a third party (rhymes with Dram) filter and do not bother doing that if this is the filter you need, the fitting isn’t correct. It lacks the black tab and won’t stay seated properly. Spend the extra few dollars on this one, or get a third party brand that does include the black tab on top of the filter to lock it into place.Bottom line is this, the filter will last as long as it states and there will be no worrying about it falling out of place. If you drive on dirt roads often, you will obviously need to change your filter more frequently.

The filter came in a brown cardboard box with an AC-Delco label on it, but when I opened the box, the filter had "Mahle" stamped on it in ink. So, is it an AC-Delco filter or is it a Mahle filter? The mounting bracket also was slightly flimsier than the one on the original filter, and a bit harder to engage. Other than that, the filter itself looks about the same as the original filter and was a good value compared to a dealer replacement. For some reason, this filter is almost impossible to find in auto parts stores.

Product came in a timely manner and was easy to install. Clips are slightly different from original manufacturer, but once clipped in place, it is perfect! Runs like a charm!
