It’s pretty hot, but very flavorful. For people who are used to very spicy food it’s probably just right. I once went to Thailand and ordered green papaya salad and had to keep drinking Coka Cola because it was so spicy. Based on that standard then this paste is on the mild side. So it’s relative.
