Houses over 1000 orbies this thing is awesome. It shoots amazing no stutters or anything. It comes with an auto fire and a manual fire settings. Battery life is long and last well. Cool attachments, and fun with family and friends in good temp. Has two ammo slots so once u run out of ammo on the top u flip your gun and the bottom ammo rolls to the top and re fills it. A truly awesome product.

Charge the battery. Give ammo proper time to absorb. This gel blaster has surpassed anything I could expect from a foam blaster. I bought 2 so my son and I could battle in the woods/park. The aim is really spot on (I wouldn't use the extended barrel because its unnecessary) The accuracy is great and the grouping is tight. The fully automatic mode is so ridiculously hard-core that my son and I consider it off limits. It's quite powerful and not for indoor use but may be one of the funnest blaster experiences I've had so far. It comes with a ridiculous amount of ammo and refills are dirt cheap.

I read a bunch of reviews from other people saying that this thing has a decent range of around 80ft. Maybe we got a defective one because this thing has a 5 foot range at best. I've verified that the battery is fully charged and the gel ammo is fully hydrated. I've also checked for jams and tried it under multiple conditions (temperature, humidity, etc) but the results are always the same.Since I got my son both this rifle and a Gel Blaster Starfire for Christmas (so that we could have battles of course!) we've been able to compare the two and I can say without a doubt that the GelBlaster is a far better product. It's range is amazing, it has great accuracy, and it has an internal rechargeable battery that only needs a basic usb-c cable to recharge. The X-Shot, on the other hand, makes a lot of impressive noise but the gel beads come out at slow speed, already arcing downward, and hit the ground 3-5ft away, at most. This is secondary to my point but I will point out that the battery has to be removed from the blaster in order to charge it and it takes a weird, proprietary cable to do so. (By the way, this is definitely not something a younger kid or even adult without decent finger strength could do, either, as the clip to remove it from the charging cable is really stiff.)Overall, even though the GelBlaster brand rifles are more expensive, after this experience I think they're worth it.

I have to say I was surprised by how this puppy blasts out a gel shot. It also has an Automatic Fire mode that is bonkers. You could really pelt your opponent in Automatic Fire. It's like a machine gun. It is loud though. It comes with an orange plastic barrel and a plastic silencer. The silencer does help. The good part about being loud is it gives a very authentic battle sound. I really need to test distance and accuracy, but my initial shots were okay accurate, it will hit right near it until you adjust. Distance seems at least 25 feet but I really have to test When I'm practicing in my fairly large back yard, it's loud enough - especially in Automatic Fire mode, I'm a little concerned the neighbors might think something's up. It's also Made in China. What's interesting is how the Chinese manufacturers make things. They are big on lots and lots of tiny little screws with tiny little washers and tiny little holes. This is FULLY ASSEMBLED. I was looking at how they built it. But I have assembled other Chinese made products and the pattern is the same....lots and lots of tiny little nuts and bolts and screws. Maybe their military equipment is not as good as we might have thought. But they are super-clever in making it work. Like the rechargeable lithium battery, a really decent sized magazine (and the gels are so small you get a lot in the magazine), and useable shoulder brace, and real attack sound. Much better than I expected. FINAL THOUGHTS: ALWAYS WEAR EYE GOGGLES. This kit comes with them. Even if you're just practicing - because the gel pellet can bounce back toward you. SOAK THE GELS in a good amount of water and I let them sit overnight. About 3 - 4 hours would be okay. I used more than enough water because the first time I didn't use a lot of water and they didn't come out right. Good Bang for the Buck on this one.

The gel blaster has a well constructed body with module detachable butt stock. The action for cartridge removal is smooth. Every movable piece of the rifle moves around seamlessly. Battery charging was easy with included cable, but the cable is proprietary. I do like the replaceable battery instead of a built-in one.Using the rifle was super easy. Accuracy was very good out to about 8 feet on the highest shooting speed setting.The biggest problem I found was the top gel loader has an opening that doesn’t stay closed. Not sure if I have a defect or it's designed that way. The opening slides open during any movement like running and if you’re not careful your gel ammo falls out which is super annoying. This is a fatal flaw in what is otherwise a very well made, quality product.

This thing rocks. It helped that it was on sale but if I needed another one I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat for full price. Battery last for the whole battle, shoots straight, looks cool but colors were wisely chosen to not make it look a realistic weapon, which is very smart by xshot. No jamming, no issues so far during multiple battles.
