Edit: It's been 4 years and we still LOVE these mattresses! Also had a friend stay over, go home and buy the same mattress for their house!*All attached photos were taken within 4 hours of unpacking*Only time will tell how this mattress holds up but I am very pleased thus far. I bought two 12" full size for my kids (this listing) and a king size 12" Elite for myself & spouse (separate listing) all on a Cyber Monday sale. These are our first memory foam mattresses and I completed an exhaustive amount of research for the better part of a year before settling on these.Upon delivery, these were well packaged. The mattresses each came in a clear bag which was shrinkwrapped around them. They were then rolled and covered in a durable milky-colored plastic and finally boxed in a clearly marked manufacturer's box.We brought the kid's beds in to sit at room temp for a day before unpacking. Each came with clear (albeit unneccessary) instructuons on how to set up. I would highly reccommend if you bought the bed in winter to let it get to room temp before unpacking. It speeds up the recovery proccess tremendously. The kid's beds were up in a matter of minutes with the corners lagging slightly. Ours, which sat in my car in the cold a few days, took longer. Regardless, none of the three took the full 48 hours which is referenced in the packaging.I read a lot about foam beds having an odor. I did not experience an odor with any of these in the slightest, even when first opening.You will want deep pocket sheets/pads/protectors. We have a variety of linens and regular sheets just do not cut it with these. Ashley did not cut any corners on standard bed size measurements and all of these fully fit the frame they are on, one is actually slightly too big. That coupled with the height, you need deep pocket sheets.The beds offer pressure relief but don't suck you in. I like a firm bed and I would classify these as firm. It's my hope that a firmer bed will last longer. The beds do respond to more weight/pressure but certainly aren't pillowy soft. I felt like I was able to change posotions easily. A parter's weight/movements can still be felt but not to the extent of an interspring. Choice of foundation will probably impact this as well.These do not sleep too hot for us. However, being children's beds, they are not loaded down with heavy blankets and comforters so I can't speak to how they might retain heat if that was the case.As I said, time will be the biggest test. Our previous $1,200 mattress lasted less than 4 years. Hell, for $150/bed this was worth the gamble. Comparatively, these only have to last 6 months to be equivalent in price longevity.TL/DR....Reasons for buying: Price, brand/company I have heard of, all foam construction with thick dense base.

I bought this mattress over 2 years ago. It still looks and feels like the day I bought it. It’s a little more firm than expected, which I grew to appreciate, but the fact that it’s still firm, flat, and even after 2 years is a good sign in my book. I put a pillow top on it which made it perfect to me. If I ever have to buy another mattress, I hope this is still option. You don’t find many things on amazon that are as good as the day you bought them 2 years in. I got the thickest one, 12 inch I think, but only because of the height of my bed frame. Looking back I would have gotten a thinner one but only because it’s hard to find sheets and stuff that fit it. That was my fault, to a defect, but as a thing to consider to anyone buying, don’t get the thickest one unless you’re willing to always have to pay extra for sheets. Due to its quality, I doubt a slightly thinner one would be any less. A great buy if you like a firm mattress. If this comes in less firm versions, probably still a great investment.

I set it up two weeks ago. I've never ordered a mattress before testing it so I was nervous. It's heavy but I think one person can do it. The hardest part was getting it out of the box. The seller didn't spare any glue! The firmness is perfect for me and it doesn't sag when I sit on the edge. I'll try to remember to update my review in a year on whether it maintains it's quality.

One year review:Firm but too firm. If you think you want firm because of back pain. Think again it may be too firm for you.I had back pain and bought this mattress. It is OK material and it’s holding on as new after a year.For reference I bought 12 inch queen. I think the website in Amazon says firm and their official website says medium. But it is extra firm. Other than that it is good.

FOUR YEARS LATER I’m using this as a guest bed and everyone who sleeps on it comments on how comfortable it is. If that isn’t THE TEST of quality, I don’t know what it. Wish I had I a need to buy another one!

The quality is really good, I have lower back pain and sleeping on it relieves it and I don't wake up in pain.

This is one of the best mattresses ever. I brought one 4 years ago and it is amazing, it is medium firm, and it kept its shape and is still sturdy. I have been trying to find the same one for my Airbnb and could not remember the brand and brought two other different brands and they are not comparable. I had to sell them; they have springs in them, and they did not keep the shape. You will not be disappointed with this mattress. I ordered it yesterday and it was delivered to my door today even though delivery was supposed to be April 2nd. I will buy this over and over again for my Airbnb.

Good mattress - I’ve had it for about 2-3 years now. It is VERY firm so if you like a firm bed, this is for you. However, lately, because it is so firm it’s been hurting my back. But again if you like a solid firm bed, this is the mattress for you
