This adapter worked well for a trip to the UK. It was easy to store and was compact enough to throw in my backpack. I think depending on where you stay (for example, this worked great at a high-end hotel but buzzed a bit at a residence) you should never leave these unattended regardless. I always make sure I unplug everything I use when traveling after I am finished or only leave these plugged in if I am there to monitor for any issues. This one did the job, was affordable, and fit my needs.

Works great in Spain. The plug works without an adapter.
