The Little Mermaid: Splash meets The Shining
The kit restored my oxidized/dull brown bronze mermaid fountain to better than new! It’s amazing to experience Everbrite easily removing years of dull oxidation to reveal the original bronze luster. It’s only been three weeks on, but so far, there’s been no reduction in the brilliant shine—which Everbrite states will last for five years or so.It’s absolutely VITAL that the somewhat complicated procedures described in the instructions are followed meticulously and in the proper order. This isn’t a project for the impatient. You will need a few common chemicals (e.g. lacquer thinner, isopropyl alcohol) that aren’t included in the kit. The reward is worth the attention to detail.Wear the gloves included in the kit when applying the Everbrite finish, or you will spend a long time trying to remove it from your hands. To achieve my desired result, it was vital to purchase not only the Everbrite finish itself, but the copper restorer that’s also included in this kit, as bronze and brass are alloys comprised of approximately 90% copper.Included below are before and after photos. Now that she’s cleaned up, I’m thinking of asking her out…if she’ll have me.

It really works!
I bought this product after a lot of research. I chatted and called the company 4 times before I bought, and talked with the reps, who were very knowledgeable.I have a powder coated aluminum deck, that is 650 sq ft and surrounded by trees. Its 4 yrs old and is a light beige color. The first spring , I washed it with scrub brush, it was difficult. Second & third yrs, I power washed. But each year, it was getting dirtier faster. I was probably wearing off the powder coating.I called the company ( Wahoo decks) and asked them to advise me on maintenance and a coating to keep it clean. ..they were no help. (This deck cost more than Trex)I called the company ( Hydro Coatings ) who did their powder coating. ... they were worse, I didn't get past the receptionist. So I ordered the Everbrite. There was a little bit of a mix up when I first ordered, because I said I wanted Satin finish. They held up the order coz satin cost more, I didn't know that.I called them, and their customer service person was friendly and accommodating. I ended up just getting standard Everbrite.I had to do the deck half at a time. I power washed, dried, coated. I used a "water wiz " applicator pad. You have to change the pads often. It was a little hard to get the product coated evenly, so some spots are shinnier than others. In directions, they say that if you miss a spot, wait till dry, and go over it. I did that, so, many different spots of gloss. .. but the important thing to me, was protection.I bought a gallon, which covered about 600 sq ft, so i had to buy another 32 oz can, but i had enough to put second coat on traffic areas.I am very impressed. The water beads up on the treated side .In conclusion, so far so good. I will update this review in the fall when the leaves drop. Hopefully, Everbrite will keep them from staining.UPDATE: It is definitely keeping the deck cleaner... very pleased.

Cheaper than new
Outside residential black lighting lamps (4) looked aged and faded. This is a multi-step process but lamps looked nice shiny black when I was finished. It's been a year and they still look good.

Works great, look like new chairs!
I got this for some powder coated patio chairs that looked oxidized and dingy. They look like new, and no paint needed!

Highly recommend it for garage doors
I had bottom 2 panels replaced on my 17 yr old garage door top 3 were all faded. I used the cleaner that was in the kit and a brush to clean the door. I let it dry a couple hours and then applied everbrite with a natural bristle brush to the faded panels only and Im very happy with the results and was real easy to do.
