Govee Simply Makes Great Lights!
Just like every product I have ever had from Govee these lights work flawlessly! Moved to a new home with ceiling fans in every room that take these types of bulbs and I was a bit worried I wouldn’t be able to find smart lights that would work. I had only ever used their regular light bulbs and light strips before and I am happy to say these work just as well. Set up was simple and they all paired automatically with Alexa. They are dimmable, and can be changed to any color with their app or by voice with Alexa. My regular Govee bulbs have lasted for more than 4 years so the price is great in the long run. No need to look anywhere for any smart lighting in the future as Govee seems to have every type you could want.

Govee does it again.
I am impressed with the rich colors of these bulbs. I have a 9 bulb chandelier and a 3 bulb porch light. I had been using the Sengled E12 bulbs but was disappointed with their washed out colors. Most of my Govee stuff is for my TVs or for the outside so this is really my first dip into interior lighting. I was quite pleased with the colors. Similar to what my Hue lights are capable of. But for a fraction of the cost. The whites are as expected and about as bright as advertised by my reckoning. And I love the Govee App so much more than the Hue app. But let’s face it… I don’t really use either…opting instead for Home Assistant integrated with Alexa and Hubitat. And these lights pair up perfectly with all of them. I haven’t tried setting up the matter side yet but that’s next. The fact that they are Matter compatible is another huge selling point as I am trying to move as much as I can that direction. I can’t really speak to their longevity as they are brand new and I believe I am actually the first reviewer. But if their quality stands up with most of my other Govee stuff I expect they’ll do just fine.My one and only complaint is that I had to screw them in kind of tight to get them to connect. One more millimeter of threading would have been nice to have seated well without feeling like I might break the porcelain on the fixture. All in all I am happy with this purchase and guess I’ll go ahead and get two more sets to finish out my fixtures.

Works great but might not work with all ceiling fans
Easy to install and connect to! Love the app and the different color setting and how you can group them to do different effects. One issue I had though is when I installed these in my ceiling fan they started blinking rapidly and not staying on. I thought it was a connection issue, but it actually had to do with my ceiling fan. Older models have a “power limiter” inside of them that create electrical noise that messes with these lightbulbs. Fortunately, I’m handy with electricity and disassembled my ceiling fan and rewired it to bypass the limiter. If you run into this issue though, you might have to return these bulbs or ask an electrician to remove your fan power limiter.

Govee E12 LED bulbs
Govee finally came out with a E12 base smart bulb. I am using them in 2 three bulb porch light, although I am only using 2 bulbs in each ( sold in a four pack). The 2 bulbs give out more than enough light even running at less than 100% in the settings. Easy to connect them to the app and WiFi. They are set to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise so no need to adjust timing as the seasons change. The color settings are also bright but dimmable from the app so changing colors for different holidays will be easy. They stay connected to the WiFi.

Great starter bulbs and solid build quality
These Govee lights are nice and a good color smart bulb if you’re looking to join the smart bulb life. The bulb is decently bright when on a warm white color, but once you change it to another color, the brightness seems to fade, especially with red. Blue and green were bright as was purple, but yellow looked very green and not that bright. What surprised me was that the cooler white color wasn’t super bright either, even though I had it at 100%. Usually the cooler white colors are pretty bright, but these ones didn’t seem quite that way. They are only listed at 400 lumens, so I don’t expect them to be super bright. The Govee app isn’t bad, but it does have it’s downfalls and can sometimes be confusing to navigate, but overall if you’re just looking to have a color bulb and change it to different colors from time to time, it’s fine. At least these bulbs are Matter compatible so you can use your own smart app like Home on iOS, and add them to automations or change the colors within that app. This also means you can have them react to other brands sensors or whatever to create some great automations if everything is in Apple Home (or your other Matter compatible app). These aren’t in the same family as Philips Hue lights, but for the price, they are much easier to get into to see if you like the smart bulb life. Overall, they are a great addition or entry to smart lighting.Govee makes some good cheaper alternatives to the higher end brands but are still solid products that work well.

Thanks for finally making candleabra bulbs!
So happy to finally have candleabra style govee lights. Previously I had to use an e12 adapter for the standard e26 bulbs in my chandelier, which looked rather silly, in order to have all my foyer lights synced with govee. But now finally I could change those for the much better looking, aesthetically pleasing flame shape. They are just as bright as the standard bulb size govee lights were and match the colors of the other bulbs in my house. Connect great, no issues functioning.

Amazing value for money
I love govee lamps! They are the only ones reasonably-priced that are easy to connect to google/alexa assistants and do not disconnect! The range of colors is good but it’s not super intense, would recommend for a nightstand or small rooms.

Need sync
Son said the app does not allow syncing multiple lights. In other words, you have to change each individual light even if you want them to all change to the same output.
