Handmade Damascus Pocket Knife, Twin Blade -By Koobi

I got beter than I had expected, and you cannot say better than that! A nice knife, good but not top top and very good value for money. Lovely blade (just need a fine sharpener) and well finished. Very content with a very special every day knife.

Beautifully crafted knife which felt lovely even in my small hand! However, the blades are both engraved and unfortunately because they are relatively thin metal the small blade had split along the line of engraving so was unusable. Sorry to have to return this and would not risk replacement for fear of the same problem. A design fault that could easily be rectified by not engraving the blade!

Youch what a great knife! You can feel the quality as soon as you pick it up. The action when opening the blade feels sturdy and the Damascus steel looks awesome! The whole knife just looks good! The sheath is another nice bit of kit.The only problem with this knife is the fact that it is for my son (20 years old) and now I WANT one!!Well Done Perkin Knives!

When I recieved this, the first thing I did with It was to open my second parcel that day, which it glided through just fine straight out of the box. The only thing I didn’t like about the appearance of this knife on arrival was the four holes, two on each side of the handle. So I bought some 6mm mother of pearl guitar fretboard inlays which cost next-to-nothing; a light application of superglue kept them in place. Now it’s perfection. My 5mm inlays were obviously too small and 7mm wouldn’t fit, so If you want to fill those holes with anything, you’ll need discs no taller than 2mm exactly 6mm in diameter. Hope this is useful to someone. I’d love to add a photo, but for some bizzare reason the usual ‘Add Photo’ box isn’t showing up on my review page, so I’m afraid you’ll have to take my word for it. Shame.

My husband has been looking at these for a number of months and i bought one for him secretly. They are beautiful and very very well made. He was totally amazed at the quality of this item. He bought one for his brother which was equally fantastic! I would recommend buying this as a present for any man, they would all welcome this beautifully crafted piece of fine "art". Thank you for making it.

It looked and felt like a knife you might see in a souvenir shop in a holiday resort. The ground edge of the knife was done badly. This does not have the look and feel of a handmade in uk knife. The packaging was really poor and the sheath was also poor quality with marks on it. I would guess that this was made in Pakistan or India by low paid workers. It was a mistake to buy this.

I have quite a few pocket knives,but this is definitely a favorite.Really well made,nothing wrong with it at all despite the low price,it feels solid and keeps a good edge.

having made (fixed blade) knives in the past i was thought i knew what to expect with this knife. how wrong i was. the build quality is very good, the decoractive work is truly beautiful and the materials used are first rate.being a legal carry knife in the UK this makes the ideal companion for days out in the country or hiking in the fells.fanatstic prce and great quality leather pouch.highly recommend.
