Great quality for the students
These are exactly as described. Unmount linoleum blocks for cutting and printmaking. I got these for my class and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. First, the box is pretty heavy, because... linoleum blocks. They come packaged, individually wrapped just waiting to be carved into fantastic art! They are very easy to cut, but remember, they are unmount, so you will.have a lot of flexibility. They cut quick and accurately, and have a very smooth inner texture. No flaking or crumbling, pretty good choice for linoleum blocks at a great price.

Carves like butter
I have only ever carved linoleum, wood, MDF and Masonite in the past for block printing. I have always wanted to try these softer rubber blocks. I was excited when these became available to me on the Vine program to try for free.I have some issues with repetitive stress injuries in my hand and wrist making it difficult to carve harder materials. These blocks carve so easily, it's like cutting through butter! I'll be able to carve for hours without aggravating my hand or wrist injuries.Another thing I like about these is that the material is so thick, you can make a carving on each side of the blocks if you are careful not to gouge too deeply. So it's like getting 12 blocks for $15, making them very reasonably priced.I haven't printed my design yet, so I'm not sure how well the block will hold up to repeated printings. I will be hand printing, so I would imagine I could pull 100s pf prints from each block. I would also anticipate that these blocks will be easier to clean than lino or wood, which you can't really clean with water since those surfaces can absorb water and swell.

So wonderful
These are just wonderful. They don’t stink. The size is great for small prints. They’re a really good thickness. They’re easy to cut through. The durability is fine (they’re linoleum blocks). They’re a great value in early 2025 and I will be buying more.

Much safer than linoleum
These are such an improvement from linoleum in regards to the dangers of the sharp cutting tools. Pressure is easier to apply on rubber and lessens the likelihood of a mishap. These blocks can be used on both sides and do not dry out and stiffen. This six pack is very economically priced.

not good
yikes. bad quality! they do not carve well. the material crumbles around the carvings. it makes the lines very hazy and not sharp. this is terrible to make clean and small lines. hard to carve!!

Practice makes perfect
I got these blocks with the idea that our family would make some stamps for the kids to use for crafts. Carving a design is lot more challenging (skill and tools) than I imagined, but the blocks are a great product. It will take some practice to carve the patterns we want to translate into a stamps.

Perfect for my projects
With these linoleum blocks, I can create my own stamps. I will carve out my design and apply the linoleum to wooden pieces for a firm surface. O ised these in art class back in high school and found them so fun. Now I will use them with my woodworking to make more personalized items.
