Delicious for pancakes, waffles or baked goods.
Delicious, high in protein, gluten-free.Love these pancakes.I also substitute Flap-Jacked for flour in recipes to make muffins, breads, and cookies that are higher in protein and lower in carbohydrates.The pancakes are filling and keep you full longer than regular pancakes.Note: I am surprised at the bad reviews. I make with 1/2 c. mix and 1/3 c. water or milk. Stir well. If too thick add more water/milk; if too thin, add more mix. Cook on med-low heat. I cook them in a pan with coconut oil or olive oil, or organic butter. I top with fresh or cooked frozen fruit and a little maple syrup. My family loves them.I was not paid for this review.

Do NOT taste like regular pancakes -- And use a lower heat setting
So many reviews of this product say that these pancakes taste just like regular pancakes. All I have to say to that is that somebody has been eating gluten-free or high-protein too long to know what real pancakes are supposed to taste like. These do NOT taste like regular pancakes. They definitely have a different taste ... maybe a little more vanilla-y or something. And the texture is a bit different from regular pancakes; they are more dense.Having said that, however, my family likes these. I initially bought them for my teenager who never seems to want any protein in the mornings. So I thought maybe I could sneak some in with these pancakes. It worked, and now our whole family eats them. But I wouldn't just give these to someone and try to fool them into thinking they're Aunt Jemima because they're just not.Do be sure that you turn your stove down considerably when you make these compared to whatever temperature you use for regular pancakes. They cook much faster and will definitely get too brown very quickly if they're cooked on too high a temp. I usually cook regular pancakes on about an 8 on our stove, but these have to be cooked on about 5.

Great product, not worth the price increase.
I have enjoyed my monthly supply of FlapJacked pancakes for about a year now. They are tasty, easy to prepare, and packed full of protein. Unfortunately, the price has risen dramatically. I surveyed my purchase history and noticed that the typical monthly subscribe&save was around $12/package. Then, for September 2018, the price shot up to $18/package. That's a 150% increase in one month. No thanks. Count me back in once they are fairly priced.

This is a nice protein alternative to breakfast
This is a nice protein alternative to breakfast. It tastes great even without butter and syrup. I like them because I can grab a pancake as I'm walking out the door and eat it on the way to work. It's not dry but goes well with a cup of coffee. Easy to make. Nice product.

Great Value for the Price!
I'm trying to limit my gluten intake while simultaneously increasing my protein intake. Although not certified gluten free, I can tell it isn't filled with gluten because it doesn't make me feel tired and bloated after eating. Breakfast is hard for me because I don't crave eggs and bacon only breads and cereals but carbs don't do much for my body. I was excited to find this product that helps me accomplish both taste and body health.The buttermilk version doesn't have a lot of taste to it so I usually add cinnamon to the mix and sometimes fresh berries. Tastes just like a restaurant waffle though! I use a waffle maker brushed with a little coconut oil and the waffle never sticks! Plus when making it into a waffle, I can hide a little almond milk and and an egg in there!The mix is nice and smooth, you can't taste any of the protein powder at all! I find this better than eating a protein bar that is either hard to stomach from the texture or filled with necessary sugars. Their muffins look good as well but this mix is a lot more cost effective if you eat their product daily.

Great balance of nutrition and taste
I think I've tried just about all the protein pancake mixes there are. This one seems to be the best in terms of nutrition and taste. I've had a few that tasted a little bit better, but had nutrition issues, such as way too sodium. I really like the nutritional profile of this one and they taste great. They mix well, I can go from a cold pan to pancakes on a plate in five minutes. A little sugar free syrup and some fruit and I'm set for a great healthy breakfast to start the day off. These do not come out rubbery at all like some protein pancakes. They are fairly light and fluffy. The flavored pancakes are pretty mild, not overpowering at all. Some other flavored pancake mixes come out so strongly flavored they taste like a chemical factory, not the case with these. I'll continue ordering this brand.

Tried this when I thought it was healthy. It is not very healthy and tasted horrible
This is not actually very good for you, as plant protein is absorbed at about half the rate at which regular old meat, fish, chicken, eggs--you know, natural and unprocessed proteins are. Not to mention they tasted really bad. You would probably just be better suited eating regular old pancakes with a few eggs in the morning every week or other week or so if you wanted to be healthy about it but not lose the ability to eat pancakes.
