Great backyard training for kids, teens, & adults
The media could not be loaded. The PowerNet Corbin Carroll 7x7 Baseball/Softball Practice Net has proven to be an excellent training aid for our family. Here’s my take on it:Sturdy and Reliable Build:The net is built with a solid 7x7 bow frame that feels very stable during use. The steel base and fiberglass poles give it a sturdy foundation, which means it doesn’t tip or move around, even during harder hits or powerful throws. I’ve found this stability very reassuring, especially when my son practices his hitting drills with full force.Easy Assembly and Portability:Setting up the net was a breeze—it took me less than 5 minutes from start to finish, with no tools required. The included carry bag makes it portable, which is perfect for taking it from the backyard to the local field without any hassle. The lightweight design, combined with the carrying case, means you can set up practice wherever it’s most convenient.Great for All Skill Levels:Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, this practice net can adapt to your needs. My son has used it for hitting drills while I use it for throwing practice, and it holds up to everything we throw at it. The large size ensures almost every hit or throw is captured, making for fewer interruptions during training.Versatility:The PowerNet works great for both hitting and throwing, which adds to its versatility. My daughter, who plays softball, also finds it useful for pitching drills. It’s a multi-functional piece of equipment that suits various training scenarios—batting practice, pitching, soft toss, and fielding drills.Quality and Durability:The netting itself is high quality and designed to withstand repetitive impacts without fraying or tearing. After weeks of practice, it still looks and performs like it’s brand new. The rebound on balls that hit the net is minimal, which helps keep everything contained, making cleanup and ball collection easier.Overall Experience:The PowerNet Corbin Carroll Practice Net is a must-have for any baseball or softball player wanting to improve their game at home or on the field. The robust build, portability, and ease of setup make it ideal for regular practice sessions. It’s made a real difference for my kids in getting those extra reps in. Highly recommend it for any players or parents looking to help their athletes up their game!

Portable Practice Net- Ready when and where you are!
We're pretty serious about baseball in our family, it's what we do. That being said, we've always got our eyes open for the best training tools on the market. When we found out about the PowerNet Baseball and Softball Practice Net, we knew we had to have one. Right out of the box the Practice Net is easy to put together, simply snap a few poles together, slide the poles through sleeves in the net, then secure the net to the top and bottom of the frame and you are ready to hit. This Practice Net is truly portable and ready to go when and where you are.The poles are strong and durable, yet the unique Bow frame design allows for a slight flex in the poles. This unique design makes this the perfect training aid for pitching, throwing (even fast-pitch!), and hitting with or without a tee. It works for baseball or softball. There are 4 ground anchors included to ensure there is no tipping, even with the hardest of hits. The netting is durable and strong, made to last nylon. The strike zone is outlined in red, which leads to a sock that collects the balls. The sock then easily pours back into a ball bucket. The easy-up, easy down design means you'll be training within minutes and when you're ready to load it up for the day, that's just as easy, it all fits conveniently in the carry bag that's included. The PowerNet Baseball and Softball Practice Net is versatile, reliable, and budget friendly. These things combined make the Practice Net THE top contender when considering portable practice nets for your league, team, self, or child!

Easy to set up and take down
We have had some time to use this net.Pros: Easy to set up and take down, very durable, netting is holding up nicely from spending time indoors and outdoors, tall enough to catch the pop fly's when doing soft toss or hitting off of the tee, nice carry/storage bag (although ours is rarely in it).Cons: It comes with stakes to anchor it down, however, we use it on the concrete so these do not work. We get windy where we are and it does blow over. Multiple times!Solution: We use leg weights for pop-up canopy tents. We place 2-4 (depending on the wind) on the legs. They do not interfere with play at all. We haven't used the provided stakes at all as the leg weights are perfect on grass or concrete and they are lightweight.Someone asked about it being used as a backstop for a catcher. Our daughter hits into it with soft toss or tee. She also puts on her catchers gear and gets in front of it. I will pitch to her (semi-fast) and if she misses it, the net will stop it. This is perfect for outdoor. Inside we use a different method when it is used for catching. This is only because we are limited on space and I don't want softballs being rammed into the wooden walls or doors in the barn. We use stacked boxes (2 rows side by side) (um.. girl scout cookie boxes that are broken down work great for us!) and put them along the wall. The net is placed in front of them with about 9 inches of space. When catching, if she misses, the ball will go into the net and then catch into or bounce off of the boxes, still remaining in the net.Another questions was if balls would go over for a taller athlete. If you hit it and it pops up, it will go over. We have hit it over and the distance you are away doesn't matter. A pop up is apop up and it will go over. Plan for it because if you don't something may get broken or you may be chasing a softball down a hill into the woods because you didn't plan for it! (Don't ask why we know this!) This has nothing to do with the design of the net. It is sufficiently tall enough and wide enough to accommodate almost all athlete sizes. We would definitely purchase this item again. I didn't realize about the part warranty until writing this review. We do have a leg cover missing so I will contact them to have this replaced. Likely it was already run over by the lawnmower during the summer and the parts are now buried under the snow!
