Vida Designs Corona Merchant Chest Of Drawers, 9 Drawer, Solid Pine Wood

This is a beautiful table. Sturdy, gorgeous wood and with quirky metal fittings. Internally there's a lot of room for storage - I've been idly trying to figure out which of my friends I can fit in there, it's so big! The waxed wood is very attractive. It is a lovely brown shade rather than the typical pale/blonde wood seen in most pine furniture.Assembly is required. For the most part this is simple and the instruction leaflet very clear. All necessary parts are clearly labelled and packed individually so there's no confusion. There are a LOT of screws. On the plus side this makes the table very sturdy and solid but buyers might find a multifunction drill/screwdriver useful. I found it easy enough to make alone but if you're not able to lift well then having a friend to help would be a good idea as it is moderately heavy.There was a problem with the base board being broken but a new one arrived within the week. I notice another customer also experienced a broken board - I would think this could easily be prevented by packing slightly differently. Additionally some of the side panels seem to have guide holes for screws in odd places such as joins. Simple enough to redrill them elsewhere but something to consider if you don't have relevant tools.Overall I'm really pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

This is such a beautiful piece of furniture. Solid pine (except for the back and drawer bottoms).I don't usually like self assembly furniture but took a chance on this based on other recommendations and I'm glad I did. My husband, with my help, put this together in a couple of hours. The instructions aren't particularly clear, just pictures. However, take notice of the pictures and the details such as plug hole positioning and you can't go wrong.I have to say it is a huge piece of furniture and you would definitely need to measure the space before buying it. Saying that, I'd say "make room." If you need the drawer space you cannot go wrong with this chest of drawers as they are exceptionally spacious. I've used the bottom drawer for bedding which is a bonus.Can't recommend this, or the seller highly enough.

This is the second piece of furniture from Corona we purchased and again parts of the drawers were missing and some of the wood was even snapped. We have wood glue which wasn’t the issue but for the missing parts there is no manufacturer to even contact to send you the pieces you need out, and Amazon customer services are no help they passed onto me contact information for a company which makes wedding invitations? you have to repackage the item await for it to be collected to be refunded and then reorder the whole thing which after having missing pieces twice I wouldn’t recommend doing. The instructions are poor they have everything numbered but none of the parts are numbered it’s a nightmare. Do not recommend. We found someone selling one half the price already assembled so if you’re lucky enough to have all the parts & manage to put them together they are sturdy drawers, but the hassle is not worth the price.

This is a lovely set of drawers to look at. My gripes are, that the base of each drawer isn't as solid as it needs to be for the amount you can get in. If you have lots of pairs of jeans for example, bending of the base over a period of time will lead to weakening and this could be a problem. No written instructions but i found this very easy to assemble with the image instructions provided. You can't use an electric screwdriver with this piece of furniture and this is tiresome as there are ALOT of screws. It would be good if they could make this so an electric screwdriver could be used as i ended up with a sore and blistered thumb! Don't be put off by the odd 3 black dots down each side, they don't have to be there. I left mine off and think it looks alot nicer. But it really is a lovely tall classic looking set of drawers. Also arrived well before the scheduled delivery date:)

No problem with unit instructions could’ve been clearer though

This is a lovely small piece of furniture. Instructions are accurate and this has been very well designed and manufactured. It took hours of building, taking my time it took a whole day, not to make mistakes. It looks lovely. Functionally, you do not get as much space as a normal drawer unit as there is wasted space between the drawers - but you get lots of different spaces as the trade off. If you have an electric screwdriver it will make building this MUCH easier - I ended up with blisters. Every part was present and no damage/defects in manufacture. If I have to nitpick, it would have been easier if each piece of wood was labelled with stickers/numbers/letters. It took so long because it is so well made and sturdy. The colour tone is lovely - antique pine - looks old and genuine. This will last a lifetime. Highly recommend.

Sturdier than I thought it was going to be, I accidentally put the bottom front panel on backwards, (silly me) and then I had to hammer the the decorative bits in, but it still looks wonderful!Draws are very deep and holds a lot of clothes, wood is strong so it doesn't bow even if you put a lot of heavy things in. Opens easily, doesn't get stuck, so you don't have to fight with the drawer if you want a tshirt.This product is definitely worth the money!Might have to buy their wardrobe now!Update: After having these drawers for over 2 years, they still look exactly as pictured. They havent faded at all and are still in perfect condition. I thought the weight of my clothes would have doomed it by now but its still great!

I’ve just put it together and currently only 3 drawers fit! I’m hoping I can return it because it isn’t it for purpose!! If I could get the drawers to fit I would be delighted because it is beautiful but like I said only 3 drawers fit.
