What an absolutely awesome toy! First this is a really good size toy right around 2ft long. The quality of the build is 100% here with very strong feeling joints almost to the point of being too tight but that's perfect knowing that these things do loosen up as you play. Making sure that the joints won't end up being sloppy. I love the imagination that's put into this where once put it together you can hold the tail and move back and forth to give a fantastic swimming feature and then the button on the tail that opens the jaw is so much fun! This will make an excellent gift for any boy or girl that loves dinosaurs. It is an excellent value coming in under $40. One last thing I love the feature of being able to eat the small little dinosaur that is included and then being able to spit it back out. This toy is so much fun!

A little scary and realistic but great fun for older, braver children. The mouth bites as expected and can pick up items. It's kind of a bigger toy and perfect for young kids as it is durable. Well worth the money.

Overall, this figure is a wonderfully imaginative toy that has a lot of play value! The figure itself is a beast, and has articulated flippers. The mouth opens and closes via a button, which allows it to swallow smaller figures (e.g., those that are roughly coin-sized). Once this figure has swallowed something, you can then quickly press the button that makes it's mouth open, causing it to vomit up whatever it ingested. It comes with a tiny little dinosaur for just this purpose. Unfortunately, it can't manage to vomit up the figures as far as one might like, but but still, the novelty of a vomiting Mosasaur alone makes this an easy sell. Recommended!

The Mattel mosasaurus is an excellent toy dinosaur with large mouth that open, movable fins, a tiny dino it can eat. It is large and can offer lots of play with other Jurassic World dinos. Great for young fans of the Jurassic series. It feels sturdy and robust so it should hold up to rugged play.
