Sudha Ma'am/Maa - this is how I'd like to address her out of my admiration. This book by ma'am is a portrayal of how people have varied perceptions towards the puzzle of success in life. The lives of five friends are described with utmost detail and in different rational, ethical, emotional and practical outlooks. Her Indian style of writing remains so fond and is a treasure for the heartwarming narration and titbits of analogies from the mythology. 'The circle of life' by Sudha maa will definitely make us take a pause from this constantly racing life and self analyse on what success truly means to us!

Sudha Murty's simple yet thought-provoking stories have always drawn me towards her books. This story of five friends who have their bittersweet moments in life and how life works out for them is beautifully narrated. It was a quick and nice read!

I love this book...

Sudha Murty weaves her magic again by amazing narration. She has excellently put the definition of success through the characters in her story.Sucess is like four blind men defining an elephant.Thank you Sudha Murty Ma'am!

Okayish read

Honestly, I don't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a book. It felt like Mrs.Muthy write the book in one week and the next week it was on the bookstore. There is just a vague storyline, borrowed from many 90's movies. I was so excited to read about 6 friends revisiting their lives. I got 2 wholes pages of it. That's all. Maybe I got her first draft in the name of a book. Don't know. The dialogues are monotonous, the characters cardboard. Such a waste. It could have been such a wonderful storyline. It felt like doom scrolling reels on YouTube. Even my 2 stars is too generous for the book. I don't want to elaborate further.

I am a fan of this author. I have read a few of her books. And out of them this is my favourite. I loved the way she writes. It shows her deep understanding of human nature and their behavior.

Excellent book...about life . It will make you think what you really want in life. And if going for one specific you are gonna lose other one...so don't try to pull everything.
