I hope it's ethical to say that these are absolutely amazing
So I was actually prepared to lose our investment ordering these, because a very long time ago for another printer we ordered a knock off brand and they did not work at all. But bottom line we could not afford the 298 dollars for new ink cartridges. We don't use these for a business, we use these for printing off learning pamphlets for our children. We are living paycheck to paycheck and it was either going with these cartridges or scrapping the whole printer.I was a little tense loading these into the printer because they looked a little bit different than the original HP ones...and I'd never replaced the HP ones and the whole process was intimidating. I was sure it was going to leak everywhere when I pulled the little plastic tape, but nope! The yellow one smelled a little like rat urine so...I'm not sure if that had to do with the ink, but I was thinking in my head - nope, this is never going to work, when do knock off brands ever work, and how could it work being 1/5th of the price. What's the catch?Well, the next thing was turning on the printer and the HP software quickly alerted me these were not HP cartridges. I thought...this is going to be it, at this point, it's going to stop everything and I won't be able to print a thing. But no, I was able to print, and it came out in the same color to me. I don't highly scrutinize the exact tones of colors, but from what I could perceive the color was the same. And the children, the intended audience, didn't notice at all, if there was any variation with the color. I am too lazy to check this as it is not an issue for us. One thing was clear to me is that the colors were definitely not off in the way a person would think the colors would be off 10 years ago - like blue is printing out green or anything. Maybe some artist somewhere can tell that there are some nuances in difference but for us we were like WOW, it WORKED!I don't know if we've done something unethical though. This is my only hesitation. Buying these knock of brands probably hurts the HP company. I met a very nice engineer who was laid off from HP about 7 years ago. But that is just the thing - he was laid off. The company clearly did not respect its employees. So if I thought that the company was spending the difference between 60 dollars and 289 on its employees, and on making sure the product stayed functioning and competitive, I would consider more seriously saving up over a year or something enough to buy the fancier ink, thinking, at least this company is using this difference to pay its local engineers, and to provide for families, and to build the kind of world I want to live in. But knowing full well HP laid off those people with total heartlessness makes me feel like I would just be a fool to pay HP 289 for their extremely expensive ink, which does not have the increased associated worth with it. In short since HP does not show this type of charity to others, why invest in them even if it's the original product made by their employees.But overall this experience also made me a little sad. I sat staring that the printer that I know was built by hardworking engineers with high attention to detail. I would have liked to buy the ink that would have supported those engineers, and their families, because ultimately the printer is an HP printer. Sadly, buying or not buying the ink does not support the actual hard workers at HP, just the heartless people at the top of the company. There is no way to help the people who actually brought us the printer. And so its a bit of a half hearted victory. Yay, we have knock off ink from China that works as well as the American counterpart.But the actual innovators and people who sacrificed their lives to make this possible will probably never see the recompense they deserve this side of heaven. And in that, there is some sadness, and now it sort of affects my printing experience.But the ink is great.

Great Value and Product; A+++++
Very pleased overall. These work just fine in my HP M252DW printer. The cartridges are recognized by the printer and the ink levels display just fine.

WARNING: You will end up spending more money than buying HP cartridges
These off-brand cartridges can leak with use and cause intense ink color covering all of your printouts (you won't see it right away and most of the reviews are written when they are just installed). I researched the internet, tried to clean these cartridges based on the tutorials, and it just didn't work. I made an emergency purchase of new HP cartridges. I also learned that the original HP cartridges are less likely to leak, and it's true I never saw this problem before when I was using those. Of course, these problems only occur when school finals are happening and job resumes are needed. While I hate the high cost of HP cartridges, they are made with new parts and you can rest assured it will consistenly work. I spent way more money in the end because these off-brand cartridges were recently placed in my printer and now I bought new HP ones to replace them, all within one year.

Name brand $$$$, or these $ you decide
These work well, and the price for a 4-pack, is cheaper than 1 of the name brand (OEM) cartridge. Have received a few multi-packs, and have not had one issue with these, will for sure purchase again.
